Are you totally over boring and old glasses styles and are looking for something new? Don’t worry we’ve got you. Spectacles look different on different face shapes. There’s nothing wrong with that. To find out your face shape, simply examine your face in a mirror or take a Selfie.

Because opposites attract, angles look best on round faces and vice versa. If you’re torn between two pairs, bring a trustworthy friend or loved one to offer advice, or shop for glasses online using a virtual try-on tool. Here are some trendy styles for fall 2021!

1. All Round About

With hot hues, high nose bridges, and thick acetate or wood frames, Prada, Miu Miu, Giorgio Armani, and other designer eyeglasses for women put a fresh new twist on old school circles. Round aviators or clear red frames will soften an angular or narrow face. Demi Lovato, Katy Perry, Beyoncé, and Lady Gaga make these glasses sing.

2. Oh so rectangle

Bold shapes do not confine you. Sharp angles are in this season, and not just on the runways of Chanel, Gucci, Dior, and Stella McCartney. Being square, triangular, hexagonal, or octagonal is fashionable, and such eyeglass frames for women give round faces a bit of edge. Our queen, Cate Blanchett has been spotted in cerulean squ-ovals, while Beyoncé has been spotted in chunky black rectangular eyeglasses for women.

3. Small but powerful

Spectacles, like purses, have shrunk. Miniatures, like baby headbands, are impractical, but they’re cute — especially with acute angles. Don’t be oblivious. Skip the tedious Benjamin Franklin glasses. Instead, opt for dark ’90s “The Matrix” mini eyeglass frames, as Versace, Valentino, and Christian Siriano did. This trend was popularized by Rihanna and celebrities Bella and Gigi Hadid, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, and Kaia Gerber.

4. Meow!

Since the 1950s, this flirtatious and feminine style of women’s eyeglasses has been the big bang. By shifting focus upward from weak chins, the classics worn by Marilyn Monroe, Lauren Bacall, and Elizabeth Taylor serve as pain-free facelifts. Be a doll with thick white frames like the original Barbie, or be bright-eyed like Rihanna or Cardi B.  These looks are currently being worn by Emily Ratajkowski, Jessica Simpson, and on the runways of Max Mara and Coach.

5. Textured all the way babe

Choose a texture. Hello! You’ve probably lusted after Balenciaga’s carved frames, Elie Saab’s multi-rimmed and Ombré shields, and Dolce & Gabbana’s crystal-fringed cat-eyes. We credit the multi-talented Italians — Gucci, D&G, and Fendi — who have dazzled us with carved and scrolled metal works of art for years now!

6. Rim-shot

With gold ore, you can score. Gold metalists inspired by the 1970s are winners at Tod’s, Céline and Tory Burch, who made double-bridge aviators a spectator sport. Hike the cool factor by wearing ombré lenses or pink metal frames. Blanchett and Fanning are examples of celebrities bringing this style out of retirement, but like them be careful not to collide with dated, dull stainless-steel trim. Also, unless you want to look old and tired( which you don’t), avoid brownish or pinkish lenses.
