You’ve done it, you’ve made the choice to move to the great state of Arizona. If you aren’t from this part of the country, you might be surprised to learn how varied the state truly is. Whether you’re someone working remotely and bringing your job with you, or planning to see what professional opportunities are there once you arrive, you can’t go wrong anywhere in the state.

Looking for a little help in narrowing down exactly where to move to in the Grand Canyon state? Here’s a short list of great places you’d be sure to fall in love with.

Scottsdale

While it might not be an option you considered, how about a perfect mix of wild west and upscale? Who knew it was possible, but depending on which way you are looking in Scottsdale, you’re sure to find one or the other.

You’re sure to have some wild west fun in Scottsdale’s Old Town and when the craving for something more upscale does hit you, remember it has more spas per capita than any other city, so it’ll be easy to find the perfect spot for you to have your stresses melt away.

On top of all that, crime is low and the quality of education is high. It’s a near perfect place to consider moving your family. It can be an expensive place to live, so do make sure your finances add up before packing up for Scottsdale.

Glendale

Just a few miles from downtown Phoenix, this great city offers the best of both worlds. Arizona’s Antique Capital offers more than 70 antique and specialty shops adjacent and sure to give you that comfortable small town feeling all while having the proximity to downtown Phoenix and the amenities of a major metropolitan area.

Some of the comforts you’ll find in great Glendale include bowling lanes, movie theaters, theatre companies and even multiple options for laser tag. No matter which way you love to unwind with friends and family, Glendale is sure to be a great option for you.

Also, it’s home to the NHL’s Arizona Coyotes so snag your favorite among all the Glendale apartments for rent so you never have to miss a great game of hockey again.

Strawberry

It’s hard to imagine a more inviting name for a town than Strawberry, and to no surprise based on the name, it’s perfect for nature lovers. Mind you it’s a little on the smaller side compared to our other options here but that doesn’t mean it has less to offer those that choose to settle down in the area, especially if you are a remote worker and bringing your job with you.

If you are a hiker looking for something a little off the beaten path, there’s plenty for you to love here. From natural bridges, to comforting retreats, and hiking such as the Waterfall Trail and Fossil Springs trails, Strawberry is the perfect change of pace for those looking for something new.
