This week I started making my final agenda for my trip to Paris next month, so in that spirit I naturally went Parisian with my outfit of the week. It’s SO simple to put together, and I basically did so with things already in my closet. The main piece being the vinyl trench coat. This outfit can work during fall, winter, and even early spring, ESPECIALLY in Paris.
A slip dress is one of the most versatile pieces to wear, and in my opinion, everyone should own at least one. They are great to wear alone in the summertime or you can dress them up or down in various ways. Here I am showing you one slip dress, three different ways.
This past Wednesday on our weekly Facebook and Instagram Live I wore this boho desert vibe outfit. While I put the look together from pieces that I’ve had in my closet for a while, and everything but the jeans and jewelry are recycled fashion, I feel this is a timeless vibe and a great go-to look that anyone can rock. I have found the exact jacket I was wearing available via eBay, along with similar pieces that you can snag to recreate this look.
As trendy as they are, paper bag pants are notoriously one of the most challenging pieces to wear. They are the opposite of practical when it comes to trousers, therefore you have to think outside the box when it comes to how to style them. On the following pages I am showing you all the ways you can wear paper bag pants. You will find my favorite picks that I sourced out online, and all the pieces you need to complete the look. No reason to be scared of them anymore!
Tulle skirts can be so diverse, seen mostly on ballerinas and occasionally a punk rock princess. Recently, however, we have seen it making an appearance as a new favorite among the street style gurus. It can be a tricky piece to pair, so I have picked out my favorite looks and sourced the perfect pieces to show you how to wear tulle skirts.
Chanel’s fall 2017 ready to wear fashion show stayed in line with Karl Lagerfeld’s “never look back” motto. So it’s no shock the theme for the show which took place at the Grand Palais was very futuristic, including a spaceship that appeared to actually launch as a show finale complete with hydraulics and pyrotechnics. Models such as Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, and Lindsay Wixson strutted down the “ground control” runway sporting metallic threads, and glittery boots with the classic Chanel black tips that we like to think could resemble moon boots. These looks were not complete without the makeup, of course. The look features a floating eyeliner and bottom lash, reminiscent of the 60’s, which, if you haven’t figured out by now… I LOVE! This combined with the modern atmosphere and threads makes for the perfect balance that Chanel is so well known for. Below you can watch my tutorial on how to achieve this look and then click to purchase the exact products used in my look.
This week we are drooling over this skirt from Alice and Olivia. Color, stripes, and metallic threads are all a must in the current trends, and this piece combines them all. Slogan t-shirts are also huge right now, and this one, also from A&O is the perfect pairing piece to compliment such a shiny skirt. Combine these pieces with a bight colored shoe, oversized sunnies and bag, and watch heads turn! Click the pics to buy!
Jeremy Scott never lacks creativity in any aspect, which is why he has had on-going success. This funky look from the AW16 fashion show is one of my favorites because it had so many great influences, from my favorite fashion era, the 60’s to his usual sparkle, glitz and glam, to rock and roll, and of course…stars! Being no stranger to a well composed “all over the place” style of his own, Scott’s pre-show commentary on the influence behind the collection was that he was gong for a “Dal‚ on Molly” vibe, which makes total sense.
We have been seeing florals patterns and prints consecutively for quite a few seasons now, and the forecast states that they are not going anywhere. Transitioning from spring, to summer, then even into winter, the beloved floral trend continues.
