Thanks to Project Runway, Siriano won a spot to show a twelve-piece collection at New York Fashion Week. His collection was as dramatic as it gets, announcing the beginning of a very successful brand that would be launched shortly after.

Celebrity guest judge Victoria Beckham saw his initial collection and praised the designer, calling him “a breath of fresh air.” The fashion force, herself stated that she would be “honored to wear” any piece of his clothing.

Unsurprisingly, Siriano was announced as the winner of Project Runway’s fourth season. The prize included a fashion spread in Elle magazine, a 2008 Saturn Astra, and $100,000 to start his own label.
