Ice Cream Inspired Makeup is All Over Instagram

Bloggers and makeup artists get inspired by all sorts of things. We could see many nature-inspired makeup looks lately, and at our major surprise, food-inspired makeup looks. This time it seems like artists have outdone themselves. The latest Ice Cream makeup trend it is all about expressing your creativity. This look was first introduced around Halloween, as a great way to mask your face if you have enough time and patience. But the craze about the ice cream makeup is back, probably because it’s just the right season to popularize it.

Summer seems like the perfect time to include the most popular summer treat in our beauty routine. Instagrammers are already pushing the boundaries of creativity by transforming themselves into this delicious treat. Anyway, you don’t have to get ice cream all over your face, all you need is makeup.

One of the first bloggers that introduced this idea is Desi Perkins that shared her ice cream look around Halloween. She created an amazing makeup tutorial where she painted her face pink. The final look gave an illusion of delicious pink ice cream melting on her face. Desi also added a pale pink wig and a headband that looks like a huge ice cream cone.

Just a couple of days ago the makeup artist and blogger that goes by the name hiimkaylaa on Reddit posted a photo of her ice cream makeup look and made this topic popular again. She got really creative and even included three real waffle cones to make the appearance more realistic.

Many other Instagrammers also posted their ice cream recreations and the trend is spreading faster than ever. Bloggers are using makeup products, face and body paints and accessorize the sundae look with waffle cones, flowers, sprinkles, and ice cream swirl look-alikes.

This most certainly is not meant for everyday looks or even for nights at the club. But you can always save this idea and use it for the next Halloween. It looks extremely cute and you will flaunt a mask that will surprise everyone. The possibilities are endless, just keep and open and creative mind.
