Just before the start of holiday collections, Too Faced has the perfect gift for makeup lovers. To transition from summer to fall, the label is blessing us with three new products. And they are all a first for the brand. After dropping a delicious-smelling Tutti Frutti collection, Jerrod Blandino and his team are releasing one face and eye palette and Too Faced’s two debut beauty lip products. They are a part of the already existing Peaches and Cream line.
The Fenty effect is real! Ever since Rihanna made a bold move towards inclusivity by launching a whopping 40 shade foundation range, major beauty brands are under pressure to stand for inclusivity. Fenty Beauty was one of the first brands to introduce such a diverse shade range and many brands just had to follow to stay competitive. One of the latest brands that joined the fight for a more inclusive beauty industry is Too Faced.
The cult makeup brand with over-the-top aesthetic decided to expand its foundation range to cater to customers of all skin tones. Its infamous Born This Way foundation is already a favorite among the beauty obsessives, but the shade range wasn’t as impressive as the product itself. That is why the brand decided to tap influencer Jackie Aina to work on expanding the existing range with medium-to-deep shades. Jackie Aina is an outspoken influencer who fights for inclusivity in the beauty industry and is not afraid to call out brands that don’t cater to women of color. For her is not just about the number, she wants to make sure that the offered products actually look good on women of color. She took the collaboration with Too Faced very seriously and according to the brand made sure to introduce shades that will look flattering on ladies with a deeper complexion.
“I was blown away at how dedicated Jackie was to making sure she got this all right. She interviewed dozens of people and reached out to hundreds of people online, and took note of what they needed and what they weren’t happy with. She really did her research to ensure the nuances of every shade were perfect,” Jerrod Blandino, Too Faced co-founder and chief creative officer.
Believe it or not, the entire process took almost two years. Too Faced and Jackie Aina expanded the Born This Way foundation range with 11 new shades. The collaboration resulted in 9 medium to deep new shades with 3 that are on the deepest side of the range. Too Faced is also releasing two new light shades that are on the lightest end of the spectrum.
The collaboration faced a bit of criticism when it was first announced. Jackie Aina made sure to address the comments:
“A lot of people thought it was in retaliation to other brands, like Fenty, but we met about this way before we even knew what Fenty was launching. I absolutely understand that people felt like it’s too little too late. But this is a good thing,” she told Glamour.
Too Faced’s mastermind Jerrod Blandino announced that the expansion of their foundation shade range is just the beginning. He assured that the brand is working on making all of the products more inclusive.

Beauty companies’ milestone birthdays are a heaven for makeup junkies. Every popular label wants to celebrate this big occasion with either a huge discount or a new collection. Now we’ve got great news for all of the Too Faced fans. The brand is celebrating 20 years since their first launch, which is definitely something worth the excitement. And what better way to show some love to the customers than releasing a limited-edition line. So far, the brand hasn’t revealed too much information on what to expect, but thanks to Instagram we still can get a sneak peek.
The theme of the birthday collection radiates strong ‘90s vibes. Get ready to treat your face with some fancy glittery products, bright eyeshadows, and fierce lipsticks. Unlike most brands that decide to celebrate the future, Too Faced is taking us two decades back. The golden age of makeup, a.k.a. the ’90s has plenty to offer. And the popular beauty brand is using all of the trends from those years to make your makeup routine super glamorous.
The popular Insta account Trendmood1 is the one that reported the beauty news. They already gave their followers a first look at the Too Faced birthday eyeshadow palette. The shades are so gorgeous that you’ll fall in love instantly. According to Trendmood1, the eyeshadows will come in different finishes. You can expect to play with some mesmerizing pastel hues including lavender, baby pink, peach, and champagne. There is also a matching vibrant alternative for all of the above. Hot shimmery pink, burnt orange, green, dark and seductive purple will be ideal for a statement lid.
The label’s co-founder, Jerrod Blandino already teased another new release. In other words, you can be sure that the festive line is really happening. He shared a short video of one lipstick that will give you chills. It’s in a gorgeous fuchsia color that shimmers brighter than the stars.

Blandino also shared a video of Too Faced’s first ’98 products, their 8 iconic lipsticks. You can see how much their packaging has evolved, but the lip products are still to die for after all these years. Shimmery and metallic pouts are making a come-back so these products would be an ideal addition to the birthday collection. The teased lipstick reminds of the debut releases, so fans of the brand are for sure excited to see more shades. We still don’t have an official release date for the festive line, but we hope that the fun products will drop soon.

The unicorn craziness might seem over to some of you, but for Too Faced is a never-ending inspiration. The whimsical beauty brand finally revealed all the details about the “Life’s a Festival” collection. If you still secretly dream of unicorns your eyes are about to become a heart emoji when you see all the products.
The insanely cute collection brings more unicorn-approved products among which are the Unicorn Horn Mystical Effects highlighting sticks. We have been obsessed with highlighters ever since we discovered their magic, but unicorn horn highlighters seem like a drop from a fairytale world. If you ever wished to shine like a unicorn, there you have it – an unusually-shaped stick that looks like a real unicorn horn ready to give you out-of-this-world glow. Named “Unicorn Tears” and “Unicorn Dreams” the highlighter sticks have a velvety feel and leave a dewy pearlescent glow. The “Unicorn Tears” is a blue highlighter with pink shimmer and the “Unicorn Dreams” is a pink one with a hint of gold. There is one more highlighter in the collection, equally exciting like the Unicorn Horn ones. The collection wouldn’t be complete without some unicorn-approved lipsticks. So, Too Faced offered La Créme Mystical Effects lipsticks in Fairy Tears, Mermaid Tears, Unicorn Tears, and Angel Tears. Furthermore, the Mystical Effects Lip Toppers come in the same shades as the lipsticks and can be worn on the top of them to enhance the holographic effect. They also look beautiful when worn alone.
It’s natural for unicorns to get tired from time to time, especially in the wild festive season. To boost your energy Too Faced created the Festival Refresh Mystical Effects setting and refreshing spray.

Londoners just got a huge beauty treat in time for the holiday season. The unicorn-approved makeup brand Too Faced opened its first stand-alone store in London. The beauty brand brought all the cuteness on Carnaby Street. You might need to pinch yourself when you get in to remind yourself that all you see is real. Too Faced is known for its insanely cute packaging and probably the most over-the-top PR packages, but an entire store in the sweetest aesthetic is a dream come true to every beauty obsessive.
First, you’ll notice the brand’s name written on a golden sparkly surface that’s impossible to miss. Then, there are the store’s windows graced by Too Faced’s best-selling products. From peach-shaped stands, heart-shaped mirrors to dollhouse-like register, the first brick-and-mortar Too Faced Store will make your heart skip a beat. Variations of the infamous millennial pink color are used to infuse the space with a girly vibe. The self-described “serious brand that knows how to have fun” brought all the fun in London with a reason:
“Opening a Too Faced store is a dream come true and just in time for our 20th birthday next year. I couldn’t think of a better location than London for our first global flagship, as it’s my favorite city. And it really doesn’t get any better than Carnaby Street — fun, fashionable, and festive, just like Too Faced,” explained the company’s co-founder and chief creative officer, Jerrod Blandino.
Too Faced is known for its sensational offerings such as chocolate-scented collections, peaches and cream treats in makeup form and unicorn-inspired products. Finally, all those insanely cute products together with exclusive offerings will hit the shelves in the brand’s first global store. Too Faced also launched its long-anticipated Peaches and Cream collection as well as the Clover Eyeshadow palette at the store opening event. Bonus surprise: The store will offer more than Too Faced’s products. Expect to see Blandino’s favorite beauty essentials such as Rodin’s Luxury Face Oil and Le Labo candles on the store’s shelves.
The store opens today and offers free makeovers, special treats, and deals to the first 100 customers. Too Faced brought their whimsical aesthetic to life at their first store which means one thing: The place is very Instagrammable and you’ll want to snap a picture. The 90s’ trends that had a huge comeback this year brought back the glitter in our makeup routine. There is nothing weird in using glitter to get a glamorous look for a night out. But apparently, you’ll be able to nurture your skin with glitter soon. Two major brands Too faced and GlamGlow took the glitter obsession on a higher level.
Too Faced’s co-founder Jerrod Blandino teased his followers with a video of a glitter face mask. In the video, you can see a woman applying the glorious mixture all over her face. At the end, she peels off the wondrous mask with ease and no residue whatsoever. The glitter face mask will be Too Faced’s first skincare product. With no doubt, the cruelty-free brand will enter the world of skincare with style.
Too Faced is not the only brand that wants to add glitter to your skin care routine. Just 24 hours after Too Faced’s glitter mask teaser, the Instagram-famous brand GlamGlow announced the launch of the Glittermask. The Glittermask is expected to arrive during the holidays. GlamGlow’s Glittermask will offer a peel-off firming treatment with its star-shaped iridescent glitter. The glitter is mixed with the charcoal-colored base. According to GlamGlow, the glitter face mask won’t cause messy situations. Every glitter addict knows the clean-up struggle after using glitter, but this face mask performs with no leave behind. The Glittermask reminds of the brand’s Gravitymud metallic silver peel-off mask. The mask became an internet obsession when it first launched because of its vibrant metallic finish. The new Glittermask might be Gravitymud’s glittery twin. As you can see the Glittermask is very Instagrammable and ready to take over your Instagram feed.
There are no official release dates for the glitter face masks yet. Glamglow’s Glittermask is expected to launch first, sometime during the holiday season. The brand confirmed that the Glittermask will be available at Sephora. Too Faced didn’t reveal any information about the launch date. Although there aren’t specific dates for you to mark your calendar, we are sure that you won’t miss their launch. The beauty influencers will probably receive the products before the official launching and you’ll see these glamorous masks all over your Instagram feed.

Back in January Jerrod gave the first sneak peek of the gorgeous collection. Since then, they teased their followers multiple times and finally showed the entire collection. But one thing was missing the entire time. Nobody had a clue when the “I want Kandee” makeup collection will become available to purchase. Finally, starting from September 3rd the out-of-this-world collection will hit the Ulta stores. The new products will also be available online on Ulta’s website.

Blandino and Johnson are friends in real life and their collaboration shouldn’t surprise us. Too Faced is well known for its adorable products that are completely cruelty-free. The brand’s products are a true treat for the eyes. Besides the cute packaging, most of their products have an authentic smell. The “I want Kandee” collection won’t be an exception. Their 15-color eyeshadow palette will smell like a real candy. The eyeshadow palette is one of the most anticipated products from the collection. The makeup artist Kandee Johnson took her makeup wish-list to the Too Faced factory and that’s how this amazing palette was born. The eyeshadow palette includes both matte and shimmery shades. Kandee included warm neutrals that would be perfect as your transition shade as well as bright base colors. The shimmers are highly pigmented and include rose, bronze, and sandy shades. The eyeshadow palette will retail for $45. To finish off your eye makeup, Too Faced x Kandee Johnson created Candy Liner Black Licorice liquid eyeliner that will be available for $18.
The “I want Kandee” makeup collection features 4 Melted Matte Liquified Longwear lipsticks. There is a peachy nude, vibrant orange, hot pink and mauve color. Each lipstick costs $21. The names will cause you a serious sugar rush. Tropical Punch, Melted Ice Cream, Freshly Baked and Sween N’ Sour are the 4 lipsticks in the collection.
Next, you’ll get a chance to upgrade your glow game with Kandee’s mesmerizing highlighter. The Candy Glow Highlighting Stick comes in an adorable pale pink packaging with Kandee’s name on it. The highlighter has a dusty rose shade and it’s highly pigmented. Last but not least, there is the Banana Pudding Brightening face powder that features tiny confetti. The purple and yellow particles inside the powder act as a color corrector.

Unicorn Tears made a big amazing debut thanks to the magical iridescent shimmer it provided. In this formula, the effect is likely to be immeasurably amped and like many others, I cannot wait to see it. Perhaps as the year goes on there will be a resurgence of the Unicorn looks (although if there isn’t, the Unicorn Tears lipstick is still enough).
Each tube will be valued at $21 retail, which is reasonably priced. I will definitely be purchasing Strange Love and Can’t Touch This, but I am excited to see the overall effect this will have on the makeup looks and tutorials that will come out once they do.
Too Faced lipsticks have a good reputation for a decent length of wear- and durability once on, especially with the liquid matte, so I am certain we can expect a similar performance from the upcoming Too Faced Melted Latex Liquified High Shine lipstick.
