Ever since Isabel Marant and L’Oréal Paris announced they will be releasing a makeup collaboration, we’ve been so excited to get the first look. The news first came in June this year, and now the two brands are showing you the complete line. The Isabel Marant x L’Oréal Paris delivers five gorgeous and very versatile products you can use in so many different ways.
Another celebrity is dipping into the world of makeup. Camila Cabello is a mega-popular young singer that has won over the hearts of millions of people. The 21-year-old Cuban-American performer became L’Oréal Paris ambassador last year in July. To celebrate their year-long partnership, the iconic makeup brand and the singer are releasing a joint collection. So far, Cabello was featured in several ads for L’Oréal’s Pantene line and is the first-ever spokesperson of the label to launch their own collection. It will be a limited-edition line, featuring a total of 14 products. But wait until you hear the name. Havana is the coolest, most fabulous title for such a vibrant array of items. It is also the city where Camila was born and the name of her first solo single which broke numerous world records.
The beauty world is obsessed with celebrity collaborations. We’re all psyched to get our hands on limited-edition collections that are both affordable and come from a luxury brand. The latest one in a row is between the cult label L’Oréal Paris and Isabel Marant. This is definitely a match we didn’t expect, but it’s such a pleasant surprise. Considering that the two brands are French, get ready to perfect that unique Parisian girl glow with the help of Isabel Marant and L’Oréal Paris.
Isabel Marant and L’Oréal Paris will drop a number of products that cover face, lips, eyes, and cheeks. This means we can expect a full collaboration that goes way beyond the one with Balmain. The designer’s initial idea was to create color cosmetics that will give a natural, effortlessly beautiful look, which is the epitome of the perfect Parisian girl. She promises that there will be all the essential products that a lady needs, which can be used in more than one way.
“But also the idea was rather to have a few necessary products that one always has in her bag and can be used in a very nomadic way. I think that corresponds more to the way of life of the Isabel Marant girl. She is rather natural in the day but doesn’t have the time to go back home before going out [in the evening] and to redo her entire beauty look. So the idea was to have the three or four products that in a flash help sublimate a face with very simple and spontaneous gestures.”- Marant said with excitement.
This is actually the second time that L’Oréal Paris has collaborated with a fashion house in creating a makeup line. Last year, the iconic label teamed up with another French luxury brand in releasing a collection of lipsticks. Balmain and Olivier Rousteing created their own line of custom lipsticks that sold out extremely fast. Isabel’s designs, on the other hand, are adored by numerous celebrities. According to Pierre-Emmanuel Angeloglou, the global president of L’Oréal Paris, she is one of the most popular French designers who exactly knows what ladies want.
Fashion brands are making a habit of teaming up with major makeup labels and releasing full collections. Just recently Erdem collaborated with NARS, Christian Siriano worked with ELF, while Proenza Schouler is set to release makeup line with Lancome. The Isabel Marant x L’Oréal Paris collection is already in the making, but we still don’t have an exact release date. According to the two brands, it will be out sometime in September.

Everyone’s favorite affordable brand, Glossier got a stamp of approval from one of the biggest stars in the music industry. During the Grammy Awards weekend, Queen B and Glossier low-key teased one of the brand’s latest products. So far no one knows what kind of release we should expect.
Celebrity makeup artist Sir John, who did Beyoncé’s makeup shared all of the products he used while creating her beauty looks, except for one. It all started when Glossier took it to Instagram and gave out hints that the superstar is the first one to test drive their new product. This detail left us all intrigued and eager to get more details as soon as possible.
When no one expected that such a big star as Beyoncé could be using the same makeup products as the rest of us, the signer proved everyone wrong. All of her makeup looks during the Grammy weekend were mostly done with affordable products by Glossier and L’Oréal Paris. The photo that caused all the buzz is from the Roc Nation’s pre-Grammy brunch, where Bey looked more than flawless. It was Sir John who first posted the photo, followed by a re-post from Glossier. The brand shared an interesting caption, that doesn’t reveal too much. It also gives just enough clues to keep us guessing all day long.
According to most fans, the new release is probably an eyeshadow. The first thing that points out in that direction is that Glossier placed the tag on Beyoncé’s eye. This was followed by an eyes emoji in the caption. The makeup guru, also used the same product for the night of the Grammys, when he paired a fierce cat eye with bold purple lipstick.
“I worked closely with Beyoncé and the team to create three very strong looks for each event and we wanted to make a major impact on Grammys night. The inspiration was Black Panther and if I describe the beauty look as ‘rebellion.’ She is wearing a large hat, sunglasses and strong hair so I wanted the makeup to compliment that. I was lucky enough to be one of the first people to try a new and exciting product from Glossier. Stay tuned to hear more but I LOVED using it on Bey all weekend.”- Sir John explained.
Whether it’s some type of eyeshadow, mascara or other eye product, only time will tell. Until then you can still copy Queen B’s glowing makeup look, by following John’s guide. Make sure to try Glossier’s Boy Brow to get bold brows like the singer. For a perfect skin, the renowned makeup artist used the Body Hero Daily Perfecting Cream and the Perfecting Skin Tint in Dark + Deep.
David Beckham is launching his first beauty brand in a partnership with L’Oréal Luxe. This is Beckham’s debut experience in the field of skincare, haircare, grooming and body care. Called House 99, the company will start off with a line of 21 products.
“I’m so excited to finally share House 99 with everyone around the world! For me, grooming is not only about how you look, but how you feel. It’s about being comfortable, trying new things and shaping your next look. I created House 99 to give people the inspiration as well as the right products to experiment and feel completely at home doing so. House 99 is here to support men, to give them the tools they need to create whatever look they are going for. Welcome to the house.”- Beckham stated.
As for the number 99, Beckham has many reasons why he chose it. It honors the year when he experienced some of the happiest events in his life. Back in 1999, the famous footballer married the love of his life Victoria Beckham, he won the treble with Manchester United and welcomed his first son Brooklyn. The initial inspiration for launching a beauty brand comes from traditional British barbershops.
Most of the products from House 99 are based on two natural ingredients: spirulina and quinoa. The brand will offer all of the styling items that Beckham finds essential. With the launch of the grooming brand, you’ll get a much closer look at David’s everyday routine. The footballer/designer will share videos and tips with his House 99 followers, on how to copy his perfect looks. In the collection, you will find a styling gel, beard oil, shaving cream, shaping pomade, hair and beard balm and more.
David Beckham’s influence in the fashion world is indisputable. He is a man of many talents. Aside from being one of the most popular football players of all times, he is also a designer. Just a few days ago, he showed his brand’s new collection. In 2015, Beckham partnered with the cult British fashion house Kent & Curwen. He is also one of the few men, that wasn’t afraid to experiment with beauty products. Beckham admits that he often uses products considered only for ladies.
House 99 will debut their first products on February 1 at Harvey Nichols in the UK. Starting from March 1, the brand will be available at other retailers in the UK and 19 countries around the world. According to POPSUGAR, 13 of the products will be exclusively sold at Ulta starting from March 24.

To become a part of L’Oréal’s family is a huge deal for every single celebrity. The famous cosmetics brand always taps inspirational faces as their ambassadors. Aja Naomi King is officially their new spokesperson and collaborator. The gorgeous young actress took the news to Instagram and shared the excitement with her followers.
Aja joined the ranks of stars such as Blake Lively, Eva Longoria, Elle Fanning, Maria Borges, Camila Cabello and more. This is an exciting collaboration that will bring exclusive makeup collections. The “How to Get Away With Murder” actress seems like a perfect match with the cosmetics brand. She loves to play with makeup and praises all the confidence that it brings to women. Since an early age, Naomi King was fascinated by the way her mom puts makeup on in the morning.
“Growing up, I watched my mom apply her makeup in the morning and wanted so badly to be part of that daily ritual with her. Seeing how much she enjoyed putting makeup on, including her go-to L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Lipcolour, inspired me to love makeup as much as she did. Makeup became my armor growing up. It provided me with a sense of protection and gave me the power and confidence to face the world in the way I wanted. To now represent L’Oréal Paris is incredibly overwhelming. I am so excited to help others find and believe in the beauty of who they are because everyone deserves to know their own worth.”- Aja shared with Allure.

The same thing applies to the Glotion Natural Glow Enhancer, Bronze it Bronzer, the Glow Nude Palettes and Shimmerista Powder. As you can see, the first release is all about helping women glow without much effort.
This collaboration means that we will see much more from Aja Naomi King in the future. The actress will be attending many L’Oréal’s events and promotions. Also, you should expect innovative products with her name signed on the packaging. The makeup brand didn’t release an official date for the drop but stay tuned for more updates.
This exciting fashion month is slowly coming to an end. Paris Fashion Week was a real treat to the eyes, starting from the designs, shoes to the amazing beauty moments. Hair and makeup are a big and important part of every fashion show. But Paris had another huge surprise for everyone.
For the first time, makeup giant L’Oréal Paris organized a beauty and fashion runway show. L’Oréal took over the famous Champs-Élysées street that was closed for the event. Val Garland is the global beauty director of the makeup brand, and she gathered all the L’Oréal muses and ambassadors to be a part of the glamorous event. The beauty stylists created 70 unique looks divided into five sections. Huge stars such as Doutzen Kroes, Adwoa Aboah, Cheryl, and Maria Borges walked the runway. The biggest surprise of the event was the appearance of the iconic Jane Fonda and Helen Mirren.
Another standout beauty look was the one at the Dior show. Bold lashes were in the center of the attention for the French fashion house. The popular makeup artist Peter Philips is behind the bold looks for Dior, as well as the one responsible for most of their beauty products. According to him, accented eyelashes will be the next big trend for Spring 2018.
‘We’re going for a contemporary take on a 60’s girl, which translates into fat, statement, spidery lashes and a simple yet graphic liner.’- Philips told Elle backstage.
Dries Van Noten included sparkling crystals both in the makeup looks and the hairstyles of the models. The looks were all about simplicity. The tiny crystals perfectly complemented the designer’s spring offerings.
Just a few months ago, Balmain and the creative director Olivier Rousteing announced that they were going to collaborate with L’Oréal on a lipstick collection. Now, the first looks of the exclusive collection are available. The two brands posted just enough photos on social media to make everyone even more anxious and excited about the launch.
From what we know from before, we are going to enjoy 12 new, special shades of lipsticks. These 12 goodies will be divided into three different color themes. And like with any other campaign, Olivier doesn’t do ordinary. For the exclusive lipstick line, he hired a few of his Balmain army girls. Rousteing had a big role in the making of the line, starting from the shade selection, packaging and more. The collaboration will bring new shades of the iconic L’Oréal Color Riche lipstick, reinvented by Olivier’s magic touch. This is their best seller globally and every three seconds one of the Color Riche lipsticks is sold. Three of the shades will be “jewel edition”.
The first shade that was already promoted on social media is the “Confidence”, which looks astonishing on Doutzen Kroes. It is a very fun, shimmering lipstick, with a rose gold hue.
The next one is presented by the Korean model Soo Joo. It is probably one of the most beautiful lipstick colors you’ve ever seen. The dark plum shade is extremely bold and named “Freedom.”
And last but not least, the “Balmain Instinct” shade. This is definitely the color you would never think of as a lipstick, but here it is. It is an amazing military green shade presented by Ysaunny Brito.
This is the first time that the luxury fashion house is teaming up with a makeup company, and it seems that they found the perfect partner. L’Oréal is one of the biggest and most popular cosmetics brand in the world and is constantly implementing huge changes.
The exact date of the launch is still not known. All we know is that it is going to be some time in September. The jewel edition shades will be sold only in selected stores. Until then all we can do is enjoy all of L’Oréal X Balmain teasers, and plan which shades we are going to buy. The line will definitely be limited edition, so the excitement grows even bigger.

The beautiful actress Elle Fanning is going to be the new ambassador of the famous cosmetic brand L’Oréal Paris. Only a couple days ago, L’Oréal hinted that they were going to announce their new spokesperson. Just today both the 19-year-old actress and the cosmetic company shared the wonderful news on social media.
Elle’s debut for the cosmetic giant is expected to happen during this year’s Cannes Film Festival. Everyone is eagerly awaiting her appearance on the red carpet. It seems like L’Oréal chose the perfect timing to present their newest representative. She is one of the youngest lorealistas in a row of many other famous actresses, models and singers. The French brand has been an official partner of the Cannes Film Festival for the last 20 years.
Elle didn’t hide her excitement to be working as one of the many ambassadors for L’Oréal:
“I can FINALLY let you all in on the mega SURPRISE!!!! I am officially a #lorealista !!!!!Thank you @lorealmakeup for welcoming me into your EMPOWERING and FABULOUS family!!! I am beyond proud to represent a company that celebrates WOMEN!!! BECAUSE WE ARE ALL #WORTHIT #lorealparis.”- she announced on her Instagram profile. This is going to be her first collaboration in the beauty and makeup industry.
Her first campaign for L’Oréal will be the commercial for the Paradise mascara. She already shared a picture from the shooting of the ad in a castle in Paris, one day before the announcement on her Instagram profile. “I got to say ‘Because you’re worth it.’ I was like, ‘That is so cool,'” she told WWD during her interview.
Elle is joining the L’Oréal family alongside a lot of other powerful women that have truly been an inspiration for everyone. Blake Lively, Deepika Padukone, Doutzen Kroes, Jennifer Lopez, Julianne Moore, Gong Li, Eva Longoria, Andie MacDowell and Bianca Balti are all just a part of the lorealistas, and most of them will be joining Elle at the Cannes Film Festival.
“It’s an honor to welcome Elle Fanning to L’Oréal Paris just in time to celebrate our 20th anniversary as beauty partner at the Festival de Cannes. Elle is a natural choice for the brand, as she highlights our love for beauty and cinema. Indeed, she is the face for the new generation as an accomplished actress, but also an inspiring canvas for make-up artists. I am sure that we will have a fruitful collaboration together,” said Pierre-Emmanuel Angeloglou, L’Oréal’s global president, during his announcement.
Despite the fact that she is only 19 years old, Elle doesn’t stop to amaze everyone with her hard work and her great talent. The actress is also going to be showing off two of her movies at the Cannes Film Festival. The first one is Sofia Coppola’s remake of “The Beguiled,” which is in the competition. It is based on a novel by Thomas Cullinan, a Civil War story presented from a female perspective. She stars opposite Nicole Kidman, Kirsten Dunst, and Colin Farrell. The other movie is John Cameron Mitchell’s “How to Talk to Girls at Parties” with Nicole Kidman in the main role once again.
Her successful acting career is marked with many other great performances in movies such as “Super 8,” “Maleficent,” “The Neon Demon,” “Dirty Sexy Money,” “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” and more.
The young actress is considered to be a fashion icon and has collaborated with many world-renowned fashion brands for their campaigns. The exclusive brand Miu Miu chose Elle to be one of their main stars for their spring 2014 collection. The second time around, the actress posed successfully for their spring 2017 line. Dakota’s little sister became the star of Marc by Marc Jacobs at only 13 years old. Among her most recent collaborations is the one with the jewelry brand Tiffany & Co. This only speaks of how Elle is turning into one of the most accomplished young actresses in Hollywood, finding the time to juggle a very successful acting career, being a fashion icon and many fashion and beauty arrangements.
Limited-edition makeup and clothing collections are very popular, this here is some spectacular news. The globally-famous makeup brand L’Oréal Paris gave the announcement that they are going to team up with the luxury fashion house Balmain to release a completely new and unique line of lipsticks.
The amazingly talented creative director of Balmain, Olivier Rousteing, responsible for creating some of the most spectacular dresses and hanging out and dressing up the most popular ladies and men in the fashion industry (the Kardashians, Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid, Zayn, Kanye, Bieber) is reportedly creating a line of 12 lipsticks. The collection will be based on 3 basic colors, and each color will have four separate shades.
The L’Oréal x Balmain capsule collection will be presented in September right before the next Paris Fashion Week when it will hit the Balmain Paris stores and possibly some other retail stores around the world. While L’Oréal has been very quiet regarding the collaboration, Olivier hasn’t wasted a minute to express how excited he is about his latest creation. What we can see from the photos and videos that he’s posted so far, there is a wide variety of colors, including different shades of pink, red, and purple. Some of the lipsticks are matte and others are metallic. Knowing Olivier’s breath-taking clothing designs everyone expects that the packaging will not lack awesomeness. This young genius has involved himself in every single part of the creation of the lipsticks, including the color and shade selection, the packaging, and even the ad campaign.
“Colour is not just in the palette of my clothes, it’s also in the girls. Some [shades] are really good on white skin, some are really good on Asian skin, some of them on black skin. Each group [of Balmain women] is really powerful but in different ways. This Balmain Army will become the L’Oreal Paris army as well.”- Olivier stated during his interview for Business of Fashion.
This is the first time that luxury French house has worked together with a beauty brand and everyone’s expectations are set very high. The Balmain dresses and clothes are way out of our price range, all we can do is wait until September and hope that we’ll be able to get our hands on the probably fabulous lipsticks.
