Fans have been impatiently waiting for ColourPop’s foundation and it’s finally happening! The brand is about to launch the No Filter Complexion Collection that among other things includes whopping 42 shades of foundation. Even high-end makeup brands don’t offer such a wide shade range!
ColourPop’s new filter concealer is already a best-seller, especially after the brand introduced more shades. The brand is again prioritizing inclusivity with their foundation launch. Besides the inclusive foundation range, the new No Filter Complexion Collection will include three loose setting powders, six matte powders, and two foundation brushes. The long-anticipated ColourPop foundation will cost only $12. The loose setting powders, as well as the matte ones, are $9 each. The foundation brushes will cost $8 and $9. As you can see the prices are another reason to be super-excited about the No Filter Complexion Collection. All of the new releases come in a cute packaging, recognizable for the brand.
According to the brand, the new No Filter foundation provides a medium-to-full coverage and natural matte finish. The product has a lightweight, oil-free, long-wearing formula with soft blur technology. The soft blurring pigment technology is what will help you achieve a flawless “no-filter-needed” look. The pressed powders are also formulated with the brand’s soft blurring technology. The product is designed to absorb the extra oil and prevent the skin from creasing of caking. The loose setting powders are lightweight and promise to set your makeup for all-day wear. ColourPop did a photo-test on the product and according to the brand there is “zero flashback to keep your IG game strong.”
ColourPop’s No Filter Complexion Collection is set to drop on June 14 at 10 AM PST. This is the first ever foundation launch for the popular brand, so fans will for sure set their alarms on June 14. For now, you can shop the collection on the brand’s website. Colourpop has yet to announce if the No Filter Complexion collection will be available at Ulta or Sephora. The in-demand makeup brand ColourPop is off to another exciting collaboration. If you’ve been looking for the perfect makeup collection that you can use from an early morning to late night, this label solved all your problems. ColourPop teamed up with the popular YouTuber and beauty influencer Shayla Mitchell also known as Makeup Shayla. They worked very hard on delivering an array of goodies that will soon become your essentials.
We’re talking about a 7-piece collection that features a gorgeous eyeshadow palette, three lipsticks, a lipgloss and two highlighters. Perception is Shayla’s first full makeup line. Mitchell has another partnership with Maybelline on colorful mascaras and a mini palette. She has also borrowed her makeup wisdom to Tarte and introduced contour palettes. If you follow her on social media, you already know that she is a real magician when it comes to beauty. The gorgeous influencer is all about creating statement looks.
The Perception palette consists of 16 shades, that include both matte and shimmery finish. When it comes to the color range, for the matte colors, Mitchell mostly used neutral tones including beige, copper, peach, orange, and burgundy. The shimmery shades are a standout, with hues such as rich olive green, plum, pink, black with a glittery navy undertone, ocean blue, champagne and more.
“This collab means so much to me, I put my heart and soul into it from packaging, colors…the colors had to be perfect and they are. I really wanted the paint, but I didn’t know how I was going to interpret that, but it worked out perfect. Inside the palette is a mirror, the names on the shadows are at the bottom, so you know exactly what color you’re using. It’s a day to night palette. I created this collection for everybody…no matter what there is going to be something for you.”- the beauty influencer said.
The packaging is gorgeous and luxurious. Mitchell opted for black, gold and purple as the main colors. On the back of the packaging, you will see the names of each eyeshadow, which makes things much easier. It also features a big mirror, for the most practical use.
The three lipsticks are called Quickie (nude brown shade), C’mon Sis (subtle pink) and Oouuu (statement coral). Each lipstick can be topped off with the Neat Freak topper for the ultimate glow. There are two Lust Dust illuminators, Pose (a gorgeous yellow golden tone) and Boomin (coppery golden with rose undertone).
The budget-friendly makeup label once again surprised their fans with this exclusive partnership. Mitchell already revealed the drop date for the Perception collection, so get your wallets ready for some serious shopping on April 27. When it comes to the price range, the palette will cost $23 and you can snatch the whole line for $59.

Each day we get new, exciting news from the beauty and fashion world about new launches. But there is no better thing than hearing that everyone’s favorite brands are invested in delivering quality products without harming animals or the environment. The latest brand to join the green club is Milk Makeup. The popular cosmetics company announced that from now on, all of their products will be 100% vegan.
Milk was launched in 2016, by Georgie Greville, who is now the brand’s director, Diana Ruth, chief operating officer and Zanna Roberts Rassi. Ever since the very beginning, the Insta popular makeup label has been cruelty-free. Milk’s three founders refused to test on animals from the very beginning. They also stayed away from harmful chemicals in their formulas. Parabens, formaldehyde, phthalates, mineral oil, talc, sulfates, SLS, SLES are just some of those chemicals that everyone wants to avoid. In those terms, all of the label’s makeup was clean but still used animal-derived ingredients. Milk is also very popular for the fun, minimalist recyclable packaging.
Diana, Georgie, and Zanna decided to take a new step in the course of their brand, after doing a lot of research. Considering the fact, that all animal products can be substituted with vegan alternatives, Milk Makeup is now going 100% green. The fact that they will not be using any animal ingredients such as bee honey, lanolin, gelatin, collagen doesn’t mean that we will get products with a lower quality.
“When we started Milk Makeup, we all had young kids, which makes you hyper-aware of all the toxicity in the world. We wanted to use healthy ingredients that we felt great about, especially if our kids got their hands on the products.”-Georgie explained. ” While we’ve always been a majority-vegan line, the shift to 100% vegan is important to us because using animal byproducts is an unnecessary practice. There is no animal product or byproduct that doesn’t have a safe natural or synthetic alternative. These ingredients are questionable for your health and have no place on your face.”-Diana added.
The label is already using plant-derived alternatives such as mango butter, coconut oil avocado oil and more as substitutes. A number of cosmetics and fashion labels have already adopted the cruelty-free way of creating their products. Anyway, not many are ready to go 100 % vegan. Fortunately, things seem to be changing. Milk Makeup is joining the ranks of brands such as Kat Von D Beauty, Hourglass Cosmetics, Lush and more which are committed to delivering goodies made of natural, vegan constituents.
