Who doesn’t love a good vintage skirt, and a rainbow striped one at that? I purchased this skirt on Etsy last year and really could not wrap my head around how anyone would let it go! I have waited for the right time to wear it and I feel considering it’s pride month, now is the perfect time. If you plan on attending any of the festivities this month, check out these pieces I have found below that will have you very appropriately outfitted for the occasion.
One of my favorite spring styles is the dark romance style. It’s channeling so many of my favorite people and things. A little goth, contradicted with a little innocence, Saint Laurent, meets Stevie Nicks, bohemian meets western. There are plenty of ways you can describe this kind of look, but it certainly has a romantic vibe to it, and I love the natural-looking effortlessness of it, and how feminine and pretty it makes me feel. While shooting this look, I actually spun and danced around in circles singing “Rhiannon”. So maybe if you are planning to attend a music festival this Spring or Summer, this is a great look for that as well! I got a very similar dress in white as well and will for sure be wearing one of the two to a festival. Below you can shop my look along with pieces of a similar vibe to customize your own dark romantic look.
Ursula Andress was the ultimate sex goddess of her time and is one our favorite classic beauties. This seductive 1960’s look is inspired by Ursula in the 1962 James Bond Film, Dr. No. Makeup by Katarina Van Derham.
I know a lot of you are jumping for joy about the events taking place over the next few months. There are oodles of music festivals in our near future, starting with Coachella this weekend and next. This week’s outfit of the week is my version of “Coachella style” or any music festival style for that matter. I love wearing bell bottoms and flare jeans to festivals, so that’s what I always start planning my outfit around. Then I always add something fun up top that moves well when I dance, so it’s either something with fringe or something long, flowy, and chiffon. Then I pile on the accessories, (as this is one place where it’s ok to do that), throw some braids in my hair, and stars on my face, and I’m ready to go. Here are some pieces I found for you that are similar to my look above. For inspiration on what to wear to a country concert check out this website.

It’s a bit of a splurge, but if you don’t mind spending the extra dough on a good bag that goes with almost everything you own, I highly suggest this be the one. It comes in lots of color and size options, including the clutch version that is featured in theist look of this article.
Festival season is here and so are all the fun clothes. I personally believe that some attend festivals just to have a good excuse to dress up. Since there are plenty of examples of how to dress for the actual festival, I thought I would give you an idea of an appropriate look for an after party. Being in the desert at 4 am in teeny shorts and a tank is not exactly warm, luckily you can still keep the festive vibe and party going til the sun comes up with these pieces.
