Though you will not find it in your job description, stress is an inevitable and normal part of any professional career. While trying to complete all the tasks under the pressure of time and dealing with demanding clients, it is easy to be consumed by work-related concerns, and sometimes you might take the stress of the job home without even realizing it.

If the COVID pandemic made us realize anything over these last couple of years, it’s that we should be learning to work for ourselves! We found that too much of our livelihood is dependent on the will of other people instead of ourselves. Businesses began to close, and most people were without work, with everything out of their control.

We move from small towns to large cities, large cities to small towns, west coast to east coast, and vice versa. I graduated from a university in the Pacific Northwest, and relocated to southern California for my first job after graduation.
