Spring is in the air at H&M now, as the brand has released the fabulous H&M Conscious spring 2013 collection, filled with blooming flowers and dreamy clothing pieces. The mystery and the romantic allure of the collection doubles thanks to stunning French beauty Vanessa Paradis, who has become the face of H&M this season. She looks utterly divine and feminine sporting those floral printed dresses, pants and delicate blouses featuring sustainable materials, such as organic cotton, Tencel and recycled polyester. Vanessa poses on the background of lush flora in a cozy apartment for the H&M Conscious spring 2013 campaign, photographed by Camilla Akrans, as well as stars in a short video, done by Johan Renck.
H&M definitely knows how to pick its brand ambassadors and its latest choice is definitely the most exciting one. It was back in January, when the brand announced Vanessa Paradis its new face, teasing us with a couple of backstage photos from the H&M Conscious Spring 2013 Campaign.
Paradis, who has collaborated with French fashion house Chanel fronting their handbag and cosmetic campaigns, seems to be quite happy to work with H&M now, as she has stated: “I like being part of something like the Conscious collection at H&M. I try my best to shop consciously, and vintage is very much part of my wardrobe. I love the style and it works in an eco-friendly way because I like to use and reuse old clothes.”
The new H&M Conscious spring 2013 collection is filled not only eco-friendly garments, but also loads of style and trends. The collection brings charming maxi dresses and lightweight pants in floral prints, sassy mini dresses, khaki shorts, jackets and nature printed pieces, which will instantly breathe spring into your wardrobes. The collection will hit the H&M stores worldwide on March 25, 2013.
In addition to the stunning collection, H&M announces a new eco-friendly program. Those, who take a bag of unwanted clothes to the H&M stores, will get a voucher in return, and best of all the clothing can be from any label. However, customers are limited to bringing only two bags per day. Isn’t that great to hand in your old clothes for recycling purposes and in return get new fabulous garments from the H&M Conscious spring 2013 collection?
