Legendary Italian fashion house Dolce & Gabbana has released a new delicious fragrance, titled ‘The One Desire’, the face of which has been announced the one and only Scarlett Johansson. The Dolce & Gabbana The One Desire fragrance is the successor of the famous ‘The One’ perfume of the brand that was launched back in 2006.
Describing the new D&G perfume, Luigi Feola, P&G Prestige vice president, explained: “This is for the woman who wants to feel unique, beautiful and sensual. She owns the room when she enters. She’s not just noticed, she attracts the attention of everybody and is sexy but not vulgar.”
The Dolce & Gabbana The One Desire fragrance is composed of the top notes of citrusy blend of bergamot, mandarin, lychee and lily of the valley, which perfectly highlight the glamorous and glorious feature of a woman. Tuberose lies at the heart of the perfume, while the base is finished off by caramel, vanilla, sandalwood and musk.
For creating ‘The One Desire’ perfume, the designers of the fashion house, Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce collaborated with Givaudan’s in-house perfumers. On this matter, Stefano told WWD that: “When we work on fragrances and makeup, we always try to stay true to our DNA. Black and gold are classic colors for Dolce & Gabbana, and the black gem cap is a bit Thirties in style.”
