Every year around May, I go through the same routine. I pull out last summer’s sandals, try them on, and remember exactly why I stopped wearing half of them. A strap that dug into the top of my foot. A sole so flat I could feel every pebble on the sidewalk. One pair that looked great in photos and felt like standing on cardboard after twenty minutes. It took me longer than it should have to accept that “cute” and “comfortable” aren’t opposites. You just have to actually look for both at the same time, and for me that search eventually led straight to stylish orthopedic sandals.
