Some accessories go in and out of fashion. Cat eye glasses have stayed around for more than seventy years, mostly because the shape does something few other frames can do: it lifts the face. The upswept outer corners draw the eye upward and outward, much like a well-placed flick of liner or a sharp cheekbone contour. This fall, the look is everywhere again. It shows up in chunky acetate, whisper-thin metal, and softer “baby cat eye” shapes that feel wearable from Monday to Saturday.
