We can safely say that fashion bloggers have a great influence on the world of fashion nowadays. Many of them turn designers or stylists, while others dictate their thoughts through their fashion articles. Thus, famous blogger Gala Gonz√°lez goes ahead and models and styles the newest Gina Tricot holiday 2012 collection. With her blog being an amazing source of style inspiration for fashionisers around the globe, the blogger is certainly spotted by designers and famous brands too. And this is far not her first fashion gig, as she has also created a special collection for Spanish label Mango.
“This Christmas I’m the new face for Swedish label Gina Tricot. I got to select and create my favourite looks and model them for their Christmas collection,” Gala Gonz‚Äö√†√∂¬¨‚àûlez wrote.
Gala gives the best description of her personal style, saying: “My style is bohemian and pretty eclectic. I always dress according to my mood and love to mix different styles. A lot of my inspiration comes from the sixties and seventies, I love the Woodstock look and a major style icon of mine is Anita Pallenberg. One of my favourite designers is Olivier Theyskens, who designs haute couture that anyone can wear, ‘crazy but wearable.”
And how does she define the Gina Tricot Party collection 2012? “It’s all about the girly party dresses and your boyfriend sweaters and t-shirts. Go baggy on the top and add a girly touch with your party dress,” she explains.
She then hurries up to add: “The bodycon dress is iconic. It’s a piece that everyone can have in their wardrobe and can be endlessly combined. Wear it with a tee to break up the girly pattern. A favourite this season.”
“My absolute favourite this season is the feminine suit. I love the slimmer model, which allows us women to look feminine in an otherwise masculine outfit,” she says.
