While we’re waiting for the 2018 Victoria’s Secret show to air on December 2, we made a list of the sexiest long-legged beauties that have walked the brand’s catwalk. All of these gorgeous faces are among the most popular models of all time. From Naomi Campbell to Miranda Kerr to Tyra Banks, feast your eyes on these jaw-dropping figures.
Stuart Weitzman is one of those brands that never disappoint with their campaigns. Each season we get overly excited to see their super-innovative ads that are literally out of this world. So far, the label has tapped so many iconic faces, and every season gets even better. For Fall 2018, Stuart Weitzman’s creative director Giovanni Morelli decided to collaborate with two of the top modeling names of all times. Gisele Bundchen and Doutzen Kroes are the stars who front the official fall campaign.
Sexual harassment at the workplace is finally not a taboo topic anymore. The actresses and models who dared to speak up about Harvey Weinstein‘s inappropriate behavior and abuse paved the way for many others to open up about their experiences with sexual abuse. Models continue to spread awareness surrounding sexual abuse and as a result, famous photographers, producers, and other influential figures have been fired from their positions. The sexual abusers get called out on social media, but is that enough to put an end to this kind of inappropriate behavior?
The Model Alliance finally took things a step further by presenting the “Respect Program”, an agreement designed to protect models at work. The Model Alliance was founded in 2012 by former model Sara Ziff. The organization focuses on “fair treatment, equal opportunity, and sustainable practices in the fashion industry, from the runway to the factory floor.” With the “Respect Program”, the organization is on a mission to hold the abusers accountable for their actions. The plan “provides a blueprint for protecting models and their colleagues from harassment.” Not only that this program is expected to protect the models from harassment but also provides a blueprint to create a safe working environment for everyone.
“We believe that if a company is serious about protecting us, it will be willing to go beyond mere premises to do better and embrace enforceable standards, with real teeth. Together, we will enable a working environment in which creative collaboration and self-expression flourishes, and everyone can work without fear of harassment, abuse, discrimination or violence,” states the open letter on the program’s website.
The open letter is specially designed to bring improvements in the fashion industry. The letter has been signed by more than 100 supermodels including Karen Elson, Teddy Quinlivan, Eddie Campbell, Milla Jovovich, and Doutzen Kroes.
The agreement calls for Code of Conduct. If a person violates the Code, the company needs to cut ties with that person.
“Participating fashion brands and publishing companies will give business preference to other participants that are signatories to the Program,” the open letter states.
The “Respect Program” also requires training sessions to educate companies and individuals how to provide a safe working environment. Besides spreading awareness about sexual harassment, the training will highlight health and wellness standards. Topics such as eating disorders, nutrition, and substance abuse will also be covered.
The program will ask companies to closely monitor the workplaces and provide a safe place for everyone involved to file a complaint. Although every company has a policy and rules that cover such things, obviously they didn’t put an end to the harassment.
“We know from this experience that voluntary standards and corporate self-policing don’t work. Real change requires enforceable standards and independent oversight,” Professor Suzanne Goldberg of Columbia University Law School, who was involved in designing the “Respect Program” explained. “It is not enough to fire one or another famous abuser. Ending harassment requires a comprehensive solution,” the founder Sara Ziff added.
In the following weeks, The Model Alliance will present the “Respect Program” to fashion entities of every kind as well as media companies.

This year’s edition features the most famous modeling faces at the moment. You can expect to see the Hadid sisters, Winnie Harlow, Kendall Jenner, Hailey Baldwin, Emily Ratajkowski, Karlie Kloss, Jourdan Dunn, Ashley Graham, Doutzen Kroes, Romee Strijd, Teyana Taylor and many more. Katie sure knows how to gather an impressive crowd. This is the most star-struck calendar so far. Shot and directed by Phil Poynter, the whole project is a piece of art that features 27 influencers.

What’s best about the 2017 advent calendar is not the celebrity crowd – is the powerful message that the influential models are sending. Grand wanted to depict the power of women and celebrate their empowerment. The whole theme of the edition is revolving around pushing the boundaries and acknowledging how much ladies can do. All of the models say “Stay Strong’ in their videos. In the background, you will hear voices saying “Women are the wave of the future, stronger than anything”.
Emily Ratajkowski is the star of Love’s third video. The supermodel shows off her impressive curves while posing on a table full of spaghetti. Emily has a very strong opinion when it comes to gender equality and is not afraid to speak up.
“Katie directed us to say ‘Stay Strong’ at the end of each video and I think it’s a message from one woman to another. You’re watching a video of a girl grinding in lingerie or whatever else and she is looking into the camera at the end saying, ‘You do you, however YOU want to, f‚Äö√Ñ√∂‚àö√ë‚àö√Ü the rest’. I’m tired of having to consider how I might be perceived by men if I wear the short skirt or post a sexy Instagram. I want to do what I want to do. Feminism isn’t about adjusting, it’s about freedom and choice.’- Ratajkowski explained.
The seventh installation of Love’s calendar carries a sports theme. Each model is working out while wearing seductive underwear. It is a 25-day video series that marked the first release on December 1. The magazine will release one video per day until Christmas. Now we have one more good reason to do a countdown to December 25.

Last year the infamous younger Hadid sister made her debut on the Victoria’s Secret Show. But Bella wasn’t just an ordinary member of the glamorous Victoria’s Secret crew. Her debut was one of the most talked-about moments from the show. The model had to share the runway with her ex-celebrity boyfriend The Weekend. The musician performed at the show while his ex-model bae was walking on the runway. The former lovers shared sultry looks that got the media thinking they will get back together. Additionally, Bella Hadid shared a picture from the show with The Weekend in the background calling him the best performer. The couple didn’t get back together, but Bella will be back on Victoria’s Secret runway for this year’s show. The model was spotted leaving the lingerie’s company headquarters and finally confirmed the news.
The 20-year old model posted a picture on Instagram wearing what seems to be Victoria’s Secret bra and a robe and captioned the image: “I feel so crazy humbled to get the opportunity to be a part of this show again…Walking into the offices this year I felt so happy, healthy, and honored.. I can’t wait for another incredible experience!!! Congrats to all of the beautiful ladies I will be walking beside. I can’t wait!”
Bella’s insanely popular sister Gigi Hadid has yet to confirm whether she’ll be walking Victoria’s Secret runway this year. Kendall Jenner who is a close friend to the Hadid sisters also hasn’t confirmed anything yet. The only girl in this celebrity squad who hasn’t been part of Victoria’s Secret’s fairy tale is Hailey Baldwin. The model was rejected several times in the past by the lingerie giant. But the rumors that Hailey will finally make her debut this year continue to circle in the media. The casting for this year’s show took place in New York last week. Many models such as Grace Elizabeth and Maria Borges already confirmed their spot on the buzziest fashion show. Former Angels Karlie Kloss and Doutzen Kroes won’t appear on the 2017 show because they retired from Victoria’s Secret last year. Cara Delevingne is expected to focus on her filming career and we probably won’t see her on the runway as well.
The most-watched fashion event is speculated to take place in Shanghai this year. The brand has been very popular in China these years and the show would help the company connect with its international customers. Victoria’s Secret hasn’t confirmed anything yet.
There is an army that is (peacefully) taking over the world, and it is Balmain‘s! The newest Balmain spring/summer 2017 ad campaign features one of the fashion industry’s most powerful armies, the soldiers of which are fighting against prejudices and looking for empowerment.
Shot by Steven Klein, directed by Pascal Dangin and refined by makeup artist Diane Kendal’s amazing skills, Balmain’s visions on the spring/summer 2017 season take us to the Californian highway, letting us have a better glimpse of Balmain’s spring 2017 collection thanks to supermodels Isabeli Fontana, Natasha Poly, Doutzen Kroes, Tony Ward, Gabriel Aubry, and Jon Kortajarena showcasing the ensembles.
“We may have shot this campaign on an early winter morning on an out-of-the-way highway in California‚Äö√Ñ√∂‚àö√ë‚àö√Übut for Steven, Pascal and me, it was important that these powerful images not be easily defined by a place, an hour or a season,’ Balmain’s creative director Oliver Rousteing explained in a press release. “We capture moments of a mysterious journey of a diverse cast of models, a nomadic Balmain army forcefully moving through an oneiric landscape‚Äö√Ñ√∂‚àö√ë‚àö√Üan environment which, like the collection itself, has been stripped back to the essential.’
Captioned on the fashion house’s Instagram account with a powerful hashtag #BalmainArmy, Balmain’s spring 2017 campaign is unsurprisingly breaking every single social media channel available on the Internet, as it also gives one of its most imposing contributions to the “Free the Nipple’ movement. Throughout the pictures, most of the models sport sheer tops worn without a bra underneath, overwhelming the Californian highway with a sense of freedom we yet had to experience.
Freeing the nipple aside, Balmain’s spring 2017 ad campaign features another strong element, the various transpositions of which will likely be featured in future Balmain campaigns as well ” music. Music is one of Olivier Rousteing’s most captivating sources of inspiration, which also brought him to collaborate with rapper-turned-designer Kanye West.
“For me and my generation, music is simply inseparable from fashion,” Rousteing declared. “Those who know Balmain will recall that it has played a key part in the house’s previous campaigns‚Äö√Ñ√∂‚àö√ë‚àö√Üwhether the focus was placed on today’s artists themselves or on a shared creative collaboration with them. Here, the impressive towering speakers that line the mysterious pathway make very clear that ours is a journey that is accompanied with a powerfully invigorating soundtrack, blasting out at top volume, at every step of the way.”
Imposing if not almost majestic, Balmain’s spring/summer 2017 ad campaign reminds us of the fashion house’s breathtaking runway show from last September, offering us inspirations aplenty for all the various important moments and events we will attend throughout these upcoming warmer seasons. As for Rousteing, we predict many more groundbreaking turning points (whether it is about a campaign or a collection) in the years to come!

Did you see the unveiling of the limited edition Massimo Dutti‘s NYC spring/summer 2016 collection campaign? If you say not, then you missed out on some sexy Doutzen Kroes, the Angel really looking as delightful as ever in neutral colors, her chiseled, gorgeous features, complete with upturned nose sculpted features and cupid’s bow lips, adding to the loveliness of the collection itself. We do not know which has us more spellbound, the comforting loveliness of the pieces worn or the woman presenting the looks that make up the latest in Massimo Dutti line-ups.
We have always loved Doutzen Kroes, but here she seems to add a sense of ethereal comeliness, elegant in every image shot as she poses for the Massimo Dutti NYC capsule collection of spring 2016. Her male counterpart in the images is Andres Velencoso, as sexy as Kroes herself, the pair lighting up the screen with their poses that are smoldering hot and quite graceful in style as well. The combination of the two makes for a campaign that we are enjoying greatly and hope to see gracing quite a few billboards, the European perfection seen rather clearly throughout.
The collection itself features some lovely neutral color palettes, from black outfits from top to bottom, to lovely white pieces accented with black belts and black stripes. We see lovely beige, particularly on one knee-length jacket in suede, coming with a matching fold over handbag clutch, tendrils of her chignon having come free and framing Doutzen Kroes’ face.
The collection features essentials for the most part, from pleated skirts to lightweight coats, lovely culottes in the 1970s era styles and pretty suedes. There are thick belts and round sunglasses, shoes that lip on and dresses with side slits. Black seems to be a special favorite of the brand as well, with it appearing on everything from pleated culottes with a high waist, mules, slippers and dresses, sunglasses pants and more.
There is a lot of white as well, appearing on spaghetti strapped tank tops, long, calf-length high-neck and sleeveless dresses, knit tops and blazer with trouser sets. There is quite a bit in this campaign and we love the poses along with the pieces themselves.
There is even a short video commercial featuring Doutzen Kroes and her male counterpart Andres Velencoso. Here we notice some white pleated skirts and pretty knit tops, along with a small show, where it appears that the lady is at first fearful of the male, before beginning to sweep off her feet and embracing the stylish model before her. It is not particularly artsy, nor memorable really, but it does show off some of the top looks and we end up seeing lots of black. At the end of the day though, the models are what make this campaign as appealing as it seems to the world right now.

Known for her jaw-dropping facial features and stunning poses, Doutzen Kroes is one of the most requested A-list models in the world. Those who particularly enjoy her works may admire her attitude and incredible skills in the fierce Mugler spring 2016 campaign, which got unveiled just a few hours ago. Dutch model Doutzen Kroes plays the tough girl part in the newest Mugler 2016 advertisement campaign, whose aim is to display a kind of femininity that is fierce and independent at the same time.
“Doutzen represents everything we are looking for in the Mugler woman. She is ultrafeminine, but there’s a natural strength and confidence about her that makes her both modern and powerful,’ Mugler’s brand development and communications director Virginie Courtin-Clarins told WWD, and we, of course, couldn’t agree more.
Lensed by Christian McDonald, who gained his reputation as an acclaimed fashion photographer since a very young age, and styled by the talented Clare Richardson, the 30-year-old model showcases Mugler’s sensual looks in both monochrome and colored pictures, channeling the French maison’s military-inspired style while wearing sexy, asymmetrical cuts and body-con silhouettes. Her hair is slicked back and combined with a natural makeup style, which makes her (Victoria’s Secret) angelic face literally stand out of the crowd (as for the makeup and hairstyles, those were Sally Branka’s and Tomo Jidai’s creations, accordingly). Furthermore, McDonald managed to capture Kroes’ proportioned silhouette, harmoniously blending it with the quirky surroundings.
Shot in Tampa, Florida, the Mugler spring 2016 campaign alternates the raw colors of nature with those of the abandoned nautical structures, which also help create a good contrast with the collection’s cool color palette and sharp yet sultry cuts. The industrial settings also help accentuate Mugler’s minimalistic and tailored pieces of clothing, which blissfully reinvent the sporty-chic trend in a more unconventional way. Compared to the Mugler fall 2015 campaign, which featured a nighttime cityscape setting, this one is definitely more intriguing and evocative.
Regarding the campaign, Kroes exclusively told I-D how honored she was to work with such an haute couture brand: “I felt so honoured! I have all these images in my head of the supermodels that really gave a ‘show’ in the 90s, and for me to be getting the chance to shoot this amazing campaign with a new team was a dream. I’m very proud of this amazing shoot!”
To get a better idea of what Christian McDonald had in mind, or just to get an idea of Kroes’ working style, we recommend watching the official Mugler spring 2016 advertisement campaign’s video. Going wrong with Doutzen Kroes is not an option, and Mugler’s latest spring campaign proves it!
