The collection merges the minimalistic streetwear vibes from Off-White and the trademark luxury silhouettes from Jimmy Choo. In other words, the designs satisfy the needs of both elegant and edgy ladies at the same time. It was first previewed during the brand’s SS 2018 runway show when everyone had a chance to get a sneak peek of the line. Since then, celebrities such as Rihanna flaunted the unique boots and stilettos on several occasions, which made fans even more eager to get their hands on the collection.
Transparent plastic and PVC are officially the top trending materials for 2018. So why not get a pair of high heels that feature all of that plus striking embellishment or fancy straps. It’s already been months since the preview at Paris Fashion Week, but the two brands are releasing the collection just in time for spring. There are also several pairs of chic boots, decorated with ruched fabric or plastic. The most striking designs are the high-heeled pumps wrapped in plastic.
Virgil’s inspiration was the style icon Princess Diana. The designer paid homage to her contributions to the fashion world with the Spring 2018 collection, as well as with this footwear collaboration. Diana was also a huge fan of Jimmy Choo and never missed an opportunity to wear the brand’s stunning stilettos.
The Off-White x Jimmy Choo collaboration is currently available for purchase online at jimmychoo.com, mytheresa.com and at Harvey Nichols. The two brands also collaborated with Selfridges, on a pop-up that will be opened until March 18. As expected, these stunning designs cost a tiny fortune. Prices start at $780 for the Mary Bow 100 pumps, up to $1,995 for the Victoria 100 embellished satin pumps.

Carrie Bradshaw is unarguably the first name that pops up in our mind when it comes to fictional shopaholics. The lady who made Carrie Bradshaw so insanely lovable, Sarah Jessica Parker got in the role of a shoe designer a few years ago. Her signature footwear label SJP serves some fancy shoe realness to all fashion obsessives around the globe. Parker perfectly understands the mindset of a shoecoholic, naturally because she is one. Just in time for Black Friday the actress opened her first ever New York pop-up store. Parker chose a central location in the heart of midtown at Fifth Avenue and 52nd Street.
“I have a sentimental attachment to this street, actually, because when I played Annie on Broadway, it was right down the street! And Billy Joel has this album called 52nd Street that I love,’ Sarah explains the story behind the location to Vogue.
The SJP pop-up store is a dream come true for the brand’s die-hard fans. There is a wall covered in stiletto illustrations custom created by Eric Hughes of Wallshoppe. This pattern is also on onto the shopping bags and the iPhone cases of Sarah’s limited edition collection. The Instagrammable wall is already a sensation on Instagram. Parker claimed that she has already received requests from fans to purchase the wallpaper. She kept the rest of the space simple but chic. The other walls are in the brand’s signature blush-toned pink color. The furniture comes from several vintage shops and Etsy.
The SJP pop-up store has the brand’s bestselling shoe styles as well as new exclusive shoe designs on display. The actress-turned-designer made sure to offer something for everybody. From trending flats and sneakers to chic high heels, Parker got you covered on shoes. Sarah Jessica Parker also brought her chic bags in store as well as the cult little black dress. The insanely chic pop-up got the attention of many loyal fans of the shoe brand. According to Vogue, there was a growing crowd outside even 48 hours before the scheduled open date.
The most exciting thing about the SJP New York pop-up store is that the actress herself will get in a role of a sales associate. Parker revealed that she will be at the pop-up most of the time, helping her loyal customers to upgrade their shoe closet. The pop-up store is open for 10 days, from November 24 to December 3. Sarah Jessica Parker promised to offer a party for the foot, so be there if you want to treat your feet and get a face-to-face consultation with the fashion legend herself.
Gigi Hadid and Stuart Weitzman are taking their partnership to another level. The supermodel created a mule collection for the famous shoe brand. Their new holiday collection includes two different styles of the Gigi Mule. For Fall/Winter 2017 Hadid and Weitzman introduced the “EYELOVE’ line designed by the model.
The super-chic pointed mules are the first official project for Giovanni Morelli, the new creative director of Weitzman. Giovanni worked closely with the supermodel and advised her throughout the process. As mentioned before they came up with two mule designs. The first style “EYELOVE‘ comes in two colors. It is a very minimalistic velvet design that you can get in either navy or beige. The right shoe of each pair features a mysterious “evil eye’ symbol. “EYELOVEMORE‘ is the second design that is done in a muted gray shade and features the same symbols placed on both shoes.
Hadid has a special connection with the “evil eye’ and that is the reason why she decided to involve it in her second collection. The video director Cameron Duddy filmed a short movie that promotes the mule line. In the “The Season for Loving” video, Gigi shows off her fierce walk while wearing the mules.

“I’ve really been into slides lately and wanted a pair that can take me into fall‚Äö√Ñ√∂‚àö√묨‚àÇno more cold toes! The evil eye is a powerful symbol meant to protect those who wear it from negative energies. It’s emotionally comforting and beautiful and captivating to look at. The bright colors are fun and remind me why we designed these shoes – they represent our commitment to build three additional schools with Pencils of Promise. Look Good, Do Good.”-said Hadid.
Last year in October the supermodel debuted her first design for Stuart Weitzman. The Gigi Boot was a mixture of elegant and sporty vibes. Just like the previous collection, this one carries a charitable cause. The shoe brand teamed up with Pencils of Promise to build three more schools in Guatemala, Laos, and Ghana in the following period.
Gigi is taking over the fashion and beauty industries by storm. Aside from her successful collaborations with Tommy Hilfiger and Weitzman, the It model recently debuted her makeup line. After being an ambassador for Maybelline for a while, Hadid launched a makeup kit.
The Gigi Hadid x Stuart Weitzman collection is making an official debut today. It will be sold exclusively at Weitzman’s stores and online on the brand’s official website. Lane Crawford and Moda Operandi are the other two retail stores where you can find the limited-edition styles. The “EYELOVE’ style will be sold for $498, while the “EYELOVEMORE’ will cost $598.
