After the major success of the first Selena Gomez x Coach collection, the brand announced the second one in March. Six months later, they’re releasing every single piece of the latest collaboration. Unlike the debut one, this marks a first ready-to-wear line designed by the singer herself. The 26-year-old star created an array of amazing bags, leather goods, and clothing pieces. She and Stuart Vevers worked closely in delivering styles that feature both the signature vibe of Coach and her chic style.
Selena Gomez and Coach are taking their partnership to the next level. The infamous singer and the heritage luxury fashion brand started to work together in December 2016. Since Selena Gomez was named as Coach’s brand ambassador, the fashion label turned into millennials’ favorite shopping destination. So far, she has collaborated with Coach on handbag and accessory drops. Thankfully, the singer accepted to get into the role of a designer and offer her fans clothing pieces designed by her. Gomez is about to release a clothing collection for the first time since being appointed as spokesperson for the brand. The wait is almost over: the Coach x Selena Gomez fall clothing line is coming sooner than you think!
We’re all in the midst of summer, but fashion houses are dreaming of fall. While fashionistas can’t get over the latest trends of the season, the ones for autumn are already in. And we must admit, they’re better than ever. Coach is another luxury label to release their Fall 2018 campaign this month. What’s even better, Stuart Vevers decided once again to tap his favorite muse and the brand’s ambassador Selena Gomez. The singer flaunts a number of dreamy looks, which are expected to be huge during the colder days.
Stuart Vevers is taking Coach all around the country. The previous collections were a love letter to New York City. For Resort 2019, the designer took Coach 1941 to Los Angeles, circa 1993. The inspiration behind this collection lays in the smoke-filled rooms of the cult Hollywood place, the Viper Room. The club that hosted metal and punk rock bands, was a hangout for Hollywood’s most popular elite. At that time, the club was partly owned by Jonny Depp. In the first year of its opening, musician River Phoenix died of a drug overdose. However, that didn’t stop The Viper Room to become Hollywood’s favorite party place. Regulars included Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston, Leonardo DiCaprio and more.
Stuart Vevers visited the club 20 years ago, during his first trip to the West Coast. At the age of 21, he was fascinated by The Viper Room. His memories of the dark, rock n’ roll vibe of the place, two decades later are still fresh. In fact, that’s the main inspiration for his Resort 2019 collection for Coach 1941.
Naturally, with The Viper Room as a starting point, Vevers focused on party-ready offerings in this collection. Coach 1941 also has an official partnership with the club. Stuart Vevers tapped The Viper Room to collaborate on logo graphics. You could see the name of the club written on simple tees alongside fun graphics.
While most designers think of vacation when designing their resort collections, Vevers suggested that the Coach girl is much more interested in going out and partying rather than vacationing. The time that the resort collection will hit the stores is around the holiday season, so the designer made sure to include fun pieces with glitzy details, patchwork, and embroideries. The festive staples include graphic cardigans, multicolored patchwork dresses, satin jackets, fringed bags and more. However, Vevers’s designs are far away from the traditional, ultra-glamorous holiday wardrobe. At Coach 1941, you’ll be able to put on display your dark side in a chic way. The menswear offerings, as the designer said, could easily double as “stagewear.”
The entire lineup is glam-meets-grunge. With Selena Gomez by its side, Coach is now a millennial-approved brand, so its offerings are infused with effortless, youthful vibe. If you’d rather be out having fun than visiting tropical places, Stuart Vevers and Coach 1941 got you covered. In case you need some inspo before shopping, just keep on eye on Gomez – she’ll certainly flaunt these pieces before anyone else.

Coach is about to have another exciting collaborative collection with Disney. This time the fashion brand decided to explore the dark side of the Disney stories. The good old fairy tales that you love ever since early childhood are about to get an edgy twist. If you can’t imagine Snow White having a dark side, Coach’s Stuart Vevers certainly can for the sake of a killer collab.
“It was fun to explore the darker side of these stories and mix Disney’s nostalgic charm with Coach’s creativity to bring my memories from these fairy tales to life within our world of accessories and ready-to-wear. The Disney spirit truly reinforces the new youthful perspective we are bringing to luxury at Coach,’ Vevers said in a statement.
The Disney x Coach: A Dark Fairy Tale collection combines Disney’s stories with gothic elements. The collab includes everything from jackets and dresses to bags, wallets, and sneakers. Among the Disney references in the collection, there are iconographies from “Sleeping Beauty” and “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.” These two Disney princesses are finally showing off their edgy side for Coach. Forget about Aurora’s and Snow White’s dreamy frocks, they are all about rock-n-roll in the Disney x Coach collection.
So, how could these lovely Disney stories possibly go dark? Let’s start with the most obvious elements. If there is one of the dwarfs who deserves a place in this Coach collection, that must be Grumpy. You can see his name written on bags alongside fun patches including his grumpy-looking eyes. However, he is not the only dwarf who managed to score a high-fashion gig. Stuart Vevers also tapped Happy, Sneezy, and Sleepy for his Disney x Coach collection. Snow White and Aurora are too good to have a dark side, but their stories do. You can spot the poisoned apple on many of the designs as well as the mystic castle from “Sleeping Beauty.”
Selena Gomez will probably be one of the first to put her hands on the Disney x Coach: A Dark Fairy Tale collection. The star is Coach’s most powerful brand ambassador. On the first Monday in May, at the Met Gala, she stepped out wearing a dreamy gown designed by Coach’s Stuart Vevers. Selena is also working on her first clothing collection with the brand that will launch this fall. While you are waiting to score Gomez-approved designer pieces, you can shop the Disney x Coach: A Dark Fairy Tale collection starting from May 14. The collection will be available both online and in stores.

Selena Gomez has been a Coach ambassador for over a year. To celebrate the anniversary the singer and the luxury brand released photos of their latest campaign. This is the second time for the mega-star to appear in a Coach campaign since she became their leading face. As a part of the new Spring 2018 ads, Selena is rocking many gorgeous outfits and accessories from their latest collection. Stuart Vevers and his muse are always a perfect match.
“The Coach girl is real‚Äö√Ñ√∂‚àö√ë‚àö√Üshe’s riding the subway or, this season, hanging out in her cool NYC apartment. Steven Meisel’s photography brings a layer of magic to those seemingly everyday situations. Whilst Selena has a warmth that’s special‚Äö√Ñ√∂‚àö√ë‚àö√Üthere is also an authenticity and realness to her that brings the campaign to life.’- Vevers said in the press release.
The ads celebrate New York and portray Gomez in a chic apartment that oversees the Empire Building. Selena rocks the designs from Coach’s Spring 2018 collection and an array of mesmerizing accessories. She also shows off the new Parker statement bag which is set to release in February. This is a gorgeous design done in fun colors and features two handles. The Parker is already on the list of many trendsetters. Gomez wears the brand’s modern embellished slip-on dresses, glittery boots, sparkling rings, and necklaces as well as dramatic heels. The entire promotional campaign is a tribute to the late pop-artist Keith Haring.
The ad material was shot by the renowned photographer Steven Meisel, who also worked on Selena’s first photo shoot with the brand. Coach opted for the winning team that has worked on their campaigns many times before. The legendary Pat McGrath is responsible for Selena’s makeup, Guido Palau for the hair, Karl Templer appears as the stylist and Fabien Baron is the creative director. McGrath kept the makeup very minimal and set accent on the brows and the lips. Since the designs from the Spring 2018 collection are statement-making, they don’t need an eye-catching makeup or hairstyle.
This high-end partnership was announced in December 2016. Since then, Gomez has been flaunting Stuart’s designs everywhere she goes. Starting from her Met Gala 2017 gorgeous gown, to her laid-back jeans and jacket combos, Selena is a huge fan of the brand. According to the singer her first designer item, she’s ever bought was Coach. In August, she debuted her first bag and accessory collection for the luxury fashion house.

New York City has a special meaning for Coach. The company was born right in this city more than 70 years ago. That’s why the Spring 2018 campaign for Coach is a love poem dedicated to the city that never sleeps. According to the brand, New York City is somewhere in between toughness and tenderness and you have to be both to enjoy life in this busy city. Born in 1941, Coach is an old New Yorker that knows very well the good and the bad sides of the Big Apple.
The collection itself features graphics by Keith Hering, a pop-up artist who was speaking about real issues through his exuberant drawings on the streets of New York. The mastermind behind the brand, Stuart Vevers paid tribute to the artist by incorporating his works in pieces of the Coach Spring 2018 collection. A standout in the collection is a bag embroidered with Keith Hering recognizable prints. The undone glamour that the brand is known for was achieved by mixing sequins and lace in an unconventional street-approved way. Think about the bomber jacket with sequin dress combo – an urban New York gal would pull this off with ease.
Stuart Vevers took the Coach cool gang around NYC as well as in an apartment with a great view of the city to shoot the Spring 2018 campaign. The entire campaign was put together with the help of Coach’s long-year collaborators. The legendary photographer Steven Meisel visualized the Coach’s New York City love poem. Furthermore, the great Pat Mc Grath glammed up the models and Guido Palau did their hair. Karl Templer styled the outfits and Fabien Baron directed the campaign. With such a team, the Coach Spring 2018 campaign won’t lack any attention. Since Selena Gomez is a brand ambassador of Coach is only a question of time when she’ll flaunt some of these pieces. The young star is setting trends, so the only issue for Coach would be to keep up with the production after Selena shows off her favorite pieces from the collection.
The campaign also features emerging models such as Léa Julian, Gisele Fox, Hannah Motler, Lorna Foran and Nisaa Pouncey. The French model Léa Julian is a rising runway star who walked probably the most runway shows this season. Chanel, Givenchy, Valentino, Fendi, Versace and Marc Jacobs are only a few of the 47 brands that Léa Julian walked for during the Spring/Summer 2018 fashion weeks.
Coach has come a long way in the last seasons especially since Selena joined to promote their products. The brand evolved its aesthetic and got the attention of the young fashion crowd. We guess that things are way better when you got millennials by your side.

Stuart Vevers told a different kind of fairy tale for Coach 1941 Pre-Fall 2018. “A gothic, romantic fairy-tale,’ was the theme of choice for the fashion house’s latest transitional collection. Pre-Fall refers to transitional, but Vevers aimed to create a “specific moment’ and stand-alone capsule for the season instead of a regular transitional collection. And he did it in his recognizable way with intricate details, patchwork, and unbeatable craftsmanship. In the last few years since Vevers has taken over the brand, Coach isn’t the same anymore. The designer abandoned Coach’s classic aesthetic and reinvented its signature goods. Now the brand counts coats, shoes, sweaters and party dresses as best-sellers.
The Coach 1941 Pre Fall 2018 collection tells a story about a gothic romance but with some of the mainstream fairy tale characters. After the successful collaboration with Mickey Mouse, the fashion house partnered with Disney for another exciting collaboration. This time Coach 1941 got the rights to tell its version of Snow White. Stuart Vevers gave Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs a spooky twist to match the theme of the Pre-Fall 2018 collection. He made hoodies, monogram clutches, and skateboards featuring each of the Seven Dwarfs on the designs.
Besides the dwarf crew, you could see other recognizable motifs from the Snow White tale such as the poisonous apple and the creepy castle. Altogether, Vevers told the story by adding a wickedly humorous vibe.
With Vevers, Coach became more appealing to the millennials. The brand also tapped Selena Gomez as a brand ambassador to approach the young consumer base. Now, while designing Vevers asks himself: ‘What would Selena wear?’ The young star is a style inspiration to millions around the world. Just for the records, Selena Gomez is the most followed individual on Instagram with 130 millions of followers. So, Coach is lucky enough to have Gomez as its brand ambassador. In times when social media sells is a good idea to add a celebrity buzz to your brand. Just recently she flaunted a custom Coach gown on the AMA red carpet.
The Coach 1941 Pre-Fall collection is all about making a statement. Simplicity isn’t the case here. From vibrant colors and graphics to lace details, everything is here to stop the show.
The footwear offering is one of the most impressive things about the collection. Lace-up booties with leopard print details, color-blocking cowboy boots, and more are among the choices for the upcoming transition weather. Add a statement-making Coach bag to that story and there is no other way – you are getting all eyes on you.

Alexander Wang is here to test your style limits. The new Alexander Wang bag looks like a stack of $100 bills covered in crystals. The $5000 bag might seem like a reasonable investment because you’ll get to keep the stack of money forever.
