Sweet and strong at the same time: that’s how Italian blogger and fashion designer Chiara Ferragni tried to envision the women who are interested in purchasing the newest Chiara Ferragni Shoes fall/winter 2016-17 collection‘s pieces, the campaign pictures of which have been finally released along with a super fun video! Ferragni asked model Staz Lindes to join the crew and become the label’s newest brand ambassador, as her eclectic personality perfectly recalls that of the collection.
“I realized that since there is already a lot of me in the collection, so I wanted to add another character in this story. It took some time for me to define the perfect woman to represent the brand, but Staz is a young woman and an unconventional beauty, she can be sweet and strong at the same time, just like the spirit of the collection,’ declared Ferragni.
As for the campaign’s settings, namely the Californian desert featuring an abandoned hotel room, it served as a figurative extension for the campaign’s ‚Äö√Ñ√∂‚àö√ë‚àö‚â§sweet and strong’ motif, as its nostalgic backgrounds and melancholic lights create an appealing contrasting pattern with the strong attitude of the new designs. Ferragni’s omnipresent love for juxtaposing patterns is in fact strong within this latest collection of hers too, and this time around such vibes got particularly infused with strong, spaghetti-western reminiscences.
Following what looks like Ferragni’s own path in life (she was born nearby Milan in 1987 and is now based in Los Angeles), the shoe line combines solid Italian artisanal skills with timeless American motifs, effortlessly balancing such contrasting styles and, at the same time, reinventing some of the designer’s notorious staples.
The Chiara Ferragni Shoes fall 2016 collection, captioned in the social medial with a captivating hashtag #BornToBeWild, is all about classic Western boots, her iconic wink-eye slip-ons, and of course more jocose and cheerful pumps, revamped with glitters and cute patterns.
Styled by Mariaelena Morelli, the art director who chose Lindes’ outfits along with the campaign’s location, and captured by Brianna Capozzi, the campaign also embodies Ferragni’s evolvement from her very first accessory line-ups until now.
More thoughtful and eclectic than ever, her shoe line changed a lot in terms of common styles and attitudes as the years passed by, and will probably keep on reinventing and changing itself within the upcoming seasons. Those who have been following fashion blogger Chiara Ferragni from The Blonde Salad since the very beginning surely know three things about her: she likes fashion, she travels a lot, and she absolutely adores Ladurée macarons. Italian, yet Los Angeles-based fashion blogger and designer Chiara Ferragni is now about to add ‚Äö√Ñ√∂‚àö√ë‚àö‚â§pastry chef’ to her astounding resume, as The Blonde Salad’s partnership with Ladurée for a limited edition ‚Äö√Ñ√∂‚àö√ë‚àö‚â§sweet’ collection of macaron has been finally made official.
Rumors of a possible partnership between the French luxury sweets maker house and the Italian blogger hit the headlines back in May, leaving all of her fans thrilled and excited (everyone wondered what it could be all about).
By teaming up with the Parisian pastry shop, Ferragni will launch an exclusive macaron box, just in time for the upcoming New York Fashion Week in September. Covered with Ferragni’s signature eye-print and coming in a light blue color, the box will include six special super-sweet pink macarons with a vanilla and strawberry flavor. The retail price tag of each box of macarons is said to be $28.00. Chiara’s macaron collection will first be available only at NYC boutiques, before hitting the worldwide market.
The collaboration is one of the many focal points behind Ladurée’s revolution, which aims at lessening the distances between its longtime devoted customers and the new, younger generation.
“In an age where the consumer can be influenced in an instant, we saw this collaboration as the obvious next step into reaching the new generation,’ declared Elisabeth Holder, co-president of Ladurée U.S.
For these reasons, the French sweets maker company is going to launch an e-commerce website for the US customers in September, which coincides with the relaunch of The Blonde Salad as well (the macaron’s box is going to be available on both the websites).
It is, however, not the first time Ladurée joins forces with acclaimed fashion brands and entrepreneurs. Previously, the French giant has teamed up with Emilio Pucci, Lanvin and Marie-Hél‚Äö√†√∂¬¨√Üne de Taillac.
As for The Blonde Salad’s Chiara Ferragni, the young, fashion businesswoman has been collaborating with many labels so far, such as Calvin Klein, Levi’s, Carpisa and Italia Independent. When she says #theblondesaladneverstops, she actually means that! Chiara can count on over 6.1 million followers on Instagram, who will surely give their opinion on The Blonde Salad x Ladurée collaboration.

Amazon Fashion seems to be going through the roof of late and in the pursuit of attaining its great ambitions in the fashion world the largest Internet-based retailer has recently announced the Italian beauty standing behind Blonde Salad, Chiara Ferragni as the new European ambassador of the brand and hence also the face of its spring 2016 campaign.
It has been a year since Amazon Fashion spread the word about its target to strengthen the presence in the fashion industry up to becoming the best place to buy fashion online and it came as no shock to see the brand taking the plunge and opening a spacious 46,000-square-foot high-tech photo studio in Shoreditch, London with 22 photography bays equipped with cutting-edge facilities. The grand opening was followed by an inspirational promise by the brand to capture and add more than 500,000 images of the clothes to its sites annually. The first ever fashion campaign of the online giant fronted the English model and actress Suki Waterhouse riding high decked into lovely jackets, suede and floral-printed pieces.
Actually this newly-broken-out hectic foray of Amazon into the fashion world is to be interpreted as something pretty much logical granting that the retailer has added more than 100 fashion brands to its platform since 2014 among them being such big names as Tommy Hilfiger, Gucci watches, Emporio Armani, Hugo Boss, Lacoste and Calvin Klein. And equally logical is it to see Amazon Fashion in collaboration with Chiara Ferragni, the Italian blogger standing behind the gee-whiz Blonde Salad and the designer of Chiara Ferragni shoes, a high-profile personality in the fashion arena in terms of both kicking off the fashion-blogging concept across the world and being a constant inspiration for many a fashionista with her countless off-beat looks.
The Amazon Fashion spring 2016 campaign shot by Cass Bird and styled by Julia Sarr-Jamois in the brands’ multi-million photography studio is to bring to our view the stunning Chiara wearing six looks from Gestuz, Selected Femme, Boss Orange, Finders Keepers and Tommy Hilfiger. The looks include an embellished black jumpsuit and tailored mini dresses though for the time being we are enabled to take a peek only at the jumpsuit.
According to Amazon Fashion EU’s brand and creative director Juliet Warkentin they will focus on women’s wear for their strategy this year. “This season builds on our first campaign with Suki Waterhouse,’ Warkentin told WWD. “We wanted to work with a strong woman who understands her own style and the power it gives her. Chiara is inspirational to women across Europe and she seemed the perfect fit for us’.
Being known as the crackerjack of working out multiple jazzy looks and sharing them online as pretty inspirational sources for many of us out there, Chiara Ferragni is surely to be a great proponent of online retail. “Nowadays you don’t need to live in a fashion capital of the world, have lots of money or be able to shop during certain hours,’ Ferragni said. “With online retail, it’s possible to browse and shop for fashion anytime of the day, from pretty much anywhere.’
The campaign will run in Amazon’s advertising and social media campaigns across Europe in the U.K., France, Germany, Italy and Spain on March 9. She has been employed by Guess as a model and spokesperson, while also coming out with her first published book. At 28 years old and standing rather tall at 177 cm, the law student has been fully integrated into the world of all things beautiful and there seems to be no end to her creativity or excitement.
She has certainly been enjoying the limelight since she started her fashion blog in October of 2009 and within 2 years was named Blogger of the moment by Teen Vogue and introduced as one of the biggest street style stars of New York through different media. She was still a law student at the time her blog had over a million unique visitors a month. Standing at 175 cm tall with dress size of 2, Lili Sumner is a bit too thin for our tastes but somehow matches Ferragni’s style. The Chiara Ferragni collection has generally been about shoes because that is Chiara’s forte, but there is more to it as well. The blogger and designer feels that by allowing another to take her place as the model for the products, there can be bigger and better collaborations and a fresh look on the pieces presented, with new inspirations popping up as you take a step back and check out the whole picture.
The campaign features Sumner in fishnet tights and ‚Äö√Ñ√∂‚àö√ë‚àö‚â§90s clothing, brightly colored backgrounds and an ode to the Superwoman theme. There are slip on sneakers and block heel ankle boots, glitter lace-up flats with Pop Art slogans, there are stars and fun appliques on the straps and heels. There are very few people out there who have not heard of Chiara, and most are as far away from fashion as you can imagine. That is one chic wardrobe we saw as well! There is just something positively youthful and divine in the way Chiara Ferragni’s closet has been designed, with multiple cubicles, around an open window to allow for a good amount of natural light, with enough slots and hangers for a very neat and beautifully segregated wardrobe compilation. There are 3-4 slots for hats, each with a different purpose to it, a slot for handbags, and multiple shelves with hanging opportunities.
Everything has a white effect to it, a plant placed in the center on the windowsill to add a splash of color, along with the golden topped lamp, while we got to enjoy a very neat creation here. Chiara Ferragni has more shoes than we can count and they are stuffed into her shoe closet, falling around her and in all shapes, colors and sizes. She’s got initialed Louis Vuitton bags in the classic monogram, while the closet itself has been created to be as cozy as possible.
If you want to create a wardrobe space you want to hang out in, Ferragni’s advice is to throw in some Cote Pierre overdyed French throw pillows, adding a vintage feel, rosy accents and a comfortable ambience; adding a pull-out sofa makes your closet into an extra guest space in the house as well. Make sure everything is well organized, which means dividers for jeweled treasures, space enough for all your bags, the right sized cubicles and shelving for your shoes and an interesting display of everything so that it is handy to get to but also stylish in appearance.
