Beyonce Launching a Clothing Line With Topshop Owner Philip Green

Who runs the world? While many of you would automatically answer ‘girls!’, Beyonce‘s catchy tune may find a new answer today, being it herself. Known to the world as ‘Queen Bee’, besides being an entrepreneur, singer, songwriter, dancer, mom and wife, Beyonce is now also launching a clothing line with tycoon Topshop owner Philip Green. It will be a streetwear line called Parkwood Topshop Athletic, and it is set to hit the stores and Topshop’s website in spring 2016. Beyonce’s streetwear line will go for sale in 20 countries around the world but do not worry, if yours is not be part of the picture, Topshop’s online store is here to stay.

There have often been rumors about an imminent partnership between the 34-year-old pop star and Green, and just a few hours ago Topshop owner (who also owns Dorothy Perkins and Miss Selfridge), finally spilled the beans confirming the good news. Rumors that Queen Bee was interested in making a move in the fashion industry actually date back to 2014, when Sir Green and Miss Knowles had discussions regarding a new global fashion company.

Now that it is finally here, the upcoming thrilling fashion collaboration will be featuring a lot of athleisure pieces, including accessories and footwear. It is going to be a stylish and highly functional line-up, in the name of the perfect athleisure trend. Moreover, Parkwood Topshop Athletic is said to introduce a new era for Topshop.

Regarding the launch of Beyonce’s streetwear line, Topshop group’s parent company Arcadia officially stated that: “We are developing our distribution globally for the launch of this exciting new brand in spring 2016.” Arcadia’s owner Taveta also hopes to make Topshop’s profits rise, while Sir Philip Green hopes to overcome Topshop’s recent challenging time (the company has recently reported a 0.9% drop in sales in the UK).

Such revolution may actually have already begun, since Keeping up with the Kardashians youngest cast members, the Jenners, united forces to create a festive collection with Topshop. However, unlike this and other previous partnerships such as the Kate Moss x Topshop collection, Beyonce’s fashion line won’t be a mere collaboration, but rather a brand new company within an already famous company.

Beyonce, who has always called herself a Topshop enthusiast, will probably use her first fashion venture, called the House of Dereon, as an example for joining this new experiment, the results of which will mark a turning point for Sir Philip Green, too.

“We have been looking at this category as fashion inspired fitness develops, and know that this is right in our customers’ heartland. Creating a partnership with Beyoncé, one of the most hard-working and talented people in the world, who spends many hours of her life dancing, rehearsing and training is a unique opportunity to develop this category,” Green recently stated.

Is Beyonce ever going to retire? We hope she won’t!

Kendall Jenner and Beyonce are collaborating on a fashion project. Wait, what? Yes, the first reaction is always a surprise. It seems that you’d never expect to see these 2 on the same page, with the same style, agreeing to the same ideas, etc. Their fans and styles are so different, you find it hard to imagine the reason they came together. We all know Beyonce and her attempts to get into this business. And, of course, we know about Jenner, who has been modeling in the fashion industry for months, but can she be more than a catwalk model?

Some speculate that it’s the only way for Kendall to get out of the shade of the Kardashians and to try to do something outside the family, and the collaboration with Beyonce is the only solution. Well, if she could get out of the K zone and start her own path, why shouldn’t she? In fact, Kendall has always been the different one in the family, the one in normal clothes and even glamorous outfits. So, I’m cheering for her! Let those thigh-high boots take the market and be the number 1 source for shoes colder weather. And I’ll be one of the first shoppers to grab a pair of Queen Bey and Princess Kendall creations.

What will Kim Kardashian think? The media likes to put these headlines in a circulation, but there is absolutely no value behind them. Why does it even matter if the older Kardashian is informed about the project? Why don’t we concentrate on their project itself, discuss the details and the skills of these 2 hot celebrities, rather than creating the intrigue that will last only 24 days (48 if you’re lucky with your engagement rate).

If you think of it not from the celebrity gossip viewpoint, but from the point of a normal user (yes, people with normal browsing habits still exist), you’ll understand that Beyonce’s and Kendall Jenner’s partnership is more than logical. What would you write about if the Kardashian sisters did a whole fashion show together? You wouldn’t be too surprised, would you? Of course! These women are always doing something together, so what makes this even so special is the involvement of Queen Bey. She’s a diva, a role model and a god for a specific layer of music fans. People adore her and want to be like her ” flawless. Then there is Kendall Jenner, which has been on the Kardashian screen for too many times to skip the reality show part.

I say these types of partnerships are very successful (see, we’re already talking about them) and they’re also very interesting for us. We’re tired of mix and matching celebrity couples, we want partnerships now. And when we’re tired of that too, we’ll come up with something else.

The company has also announced that apart from these 3 options, the sheets also include lines from “I woke up like this’ and “Pretty Hurts” lyrics.

This is why her latest collaboration venture with Topshop, putting down the groundwork for Parkwood Topshop Athletic Ltd did not come as much of a surprise for us. When she likes it, she most definitely puts a ring on it and shows off with indisputable certainty that she most definitely plays her part in running the world. The former Destiny’s Child star and modern-day feminist superstar certainly knows how to rile up a crowd, and we’re not talking about taking to the stage for a sexual but empowering performance. No, the “Dreamgirls’ star has her mind set on fashion instead this time.

Topshop’s most famous customer, our favourite lady has decided to become a partner in the brand, looking to produce an athletic streetwear collection that will take the market by storm. Fall 2015 is the tentative launch date and we cannot wait to see what’s in store!

This is not merely collaboration according to Topshop owner Sir Philip Green, but the building of a business from the bottom up, with equal 50-50 partnership. Plans have been brewing since Beyoncé’s February visit to London, wherein they decided the athletics sector is the perfect market to target. In all seriousness, the deal has been in the works from around June, taking up to 8 weeks to complete the fine details. We love the idea and find ourselves very much excited to see the beginning of a fruitful partnership between a diva and her favourite brand.

“We have been looking at this category as fashion-inspired fitness develops, and know that this is right in our customers’ heartland,” Green said. “Creating a partnership with Beyoncé, one of the most hard-working and talented people in the world, who spends many hours of her life dancing, rehearsing and training is a unique opportunity to develop this category.’

Topshop in itself is very forward-thinking, edgy, and easily lovable. Fans feedback has been immensely positive, probably because Beyoncé is such a prominent celebrity figure, who serves as a role model to women around the world. If anyone can create motivation to hit the gym and keep fit while staying fashionable, it’s the sparkling diva herself. Sexy, sassy, smart and entirely relatable, Beyoncé Knowles has already got the women at the gym hyped up. We would be surprised if all our iPods did not have a whole collection of Beyoncé songs on repeat!

The fashion brand most certainly was bestowed with the sweet end of the deal as they are now a partner, full-fledged and not simply with celebrity endorsement, with one of the top 100 most influential people in both 2013 and 2014, who also happens to be the highest-paid black musician in history! Beyoncé’s not new to the fashion industry herself, having introduced the House of Deréon in 2005, which already featured some sportswear, denims with fur, and outerwear. Teaming up with House of Brands in 2005 as well, the family business added its own line of footwear. To date, she’s launched different lines in different stores, with one of the latest having been more professional and glamorous in taste through C&A in Brazil. The girl’s got an eye for fashion and she is doing a spectacular job at presenting her creations to the world.

With all this information, the anticipation is thick and the frustration over the wait palpable. We want to be the first to see her designs and there’s little that could satiate that thirst until next fall.

The fact that Swedish retailer H&M is prospering season after season can hardly be denied. After debuting their fashion show in Paris Fashion Week, the brand scores another important deal, this time with global superstar Beyoncé. The Beyoncé for H&M news has been already confirmed and today the famous high-street retailer announced on their blog that Beyoncé will appear in the print and TV ads promoting the new pieces from the H&M summer 2013 collection! Moreover, the new H&M clothing pieces modeled by Beyoncé bear a piece of her own personal style.
The new H&M summer 2013 campaign featuring Beyoncé was shot in the sunny Bahamas by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. The billboard ads introduce “Beyoncé as Mrs. Carter in H&M’, which refers to the star’s Mrs. Carter Show World Tour that kicks off on April 15.
Talking about her deal with H&M, Beyoncé says: “I’ve always liked H&M’s focus on fun and affordable fashion. I really loved the concept we collaborated on to explore the different emotions of women represented by the four elements ” fire, water, earth and wind. It was a beautiful shoot on a tropical island. It felt more like making a video than a commercial.’

In the H&M summer 2013 campaign, Beyoncé is sporting gorgeous swimwear and beachwear pieces, bodycon dresses, sundresses and much more. What makes this collection so special is that “Beyoncé herself had input into the design, and they are full of her own personal style.’

They are likely trying to protect what they rightfully own or created, shall we say, by trademarking Blue Ivy’s name.’
