Massimo Dutti January 2015 Lookbook
Suede, leather, white shirts and golden mustard capris, knit jackets and khaki shorts are fall into the latest Massimo Dutti January 2015 lookbook. The Spanish company may have only been women’s fashionable clothing since 1992, despite opening its doors back in 1985 in Barcelona, but the styles are impeccably desirable and we are devouring image after image with stupefied intent. While many may believe that Massimo Dutti is a fashion designer himself, the truth is that there is no real person in the company by that name. It is but the brand under which the line operates. The name might sound Italian, but the company itself with wholly Spanish.
In its latest Massimo Dutti January 2015 lookbook, we are certainly seeing the chic sophistication we have come to expect from the brand, as its international fans demand at least a few pieces from the famed collections. This January lookbook should provide those even in far-flung countries such as Armenia and Malta with a good sample of designs to get one through the next month at least!
A blue pantsuit, not too light and not too dark seems like the perfect office look to be rocking this season. It’s professional, chic and has a touch of sexy with its single button placed lower on the jacket, in line with the hips, and the comfortable wide pant allowing for airy movement without the typical constrictions we are prone to seeing. It can be worn with a shirt or a simple tank top underneath, or even without anything at all to add a touch of risqué to the whole outfit. Hair trends tend to be on the medium side these days, while beige leather bands on watches and beige colored flats finish off the look with classy ease.
With the trends for denim still tending to lean towards multiple pieces of it in a single outfit, the next gorgeous set of fitted mid-rise denim pants with a looser denim shirt is great, particularly when topped off with a grey and white tweed jacket to add some contrast and offset the Wild West look. It’s casual but not to be underestimated as it can be just as sexy as any other outfit, particularly with the shirt top buttons left undone. The cuffs peeking out from under the jacket also add to the allure of this style, meaning we’ll be craving even more denim once we grab ourselves some Massimo Dutti pieces.
Speaking about tweed jackets, the same can also come in a denim color, which looks amazing with a silky navy and white designed blouse, a snakeskin blue leather handbag and comfortable white slacks. It’s a professional look that’s sleek and chic while with a hint of sexy as the top buttons are best left undone, baring at least a sliver of skin. It’s a great look, one that coupled with a blow-dried hairstyle that looks rather wind swept and barely there makeup presents a rather intriguing and positively mesmerising fashion sense.
Change the blouse and white slacks with leather skinny pants in a cognac color and a darker navy sweater and you have a rather lovely look that’s perfect for the spring season. Throw in nude or cognac colored leather strap sandals, while also adding an oversized handbag in the same color and you have one spring look that should be in every wardrobe come the next few seasons. We are huge fans of this particular style and many would agree on this statement.
