Bebe Gets Bohemian with Irina Shayk for Fall 2015
Boho girls are always out of categorization. You can’t get them into a different fashion style, so you’ll just have to give up and release a boho catalogue for them to come to YOU! Bebe has been one of the fashion labels that have returned to the floral prints this season (ironically, they’re bringing flowers for fall!). Some of labels, like Bebe, preferred to keep the florals in limit, but use it as a key theme at the same time. Luckily for those, who just can’t stand the floral print, the Bebe fall 2015 catalogue is only partially boho, and some glamorous outfits are waiting for you. Just turn the page!
The Bebe August 2015 catalogue will be interesting not only to the female population of the fashion universe, but its male counterpart as well. The main reason for that heightened interest would be the role model and dream for many, Irina Shayk. The model, together with Gracie Carvahlo, poses confidently, showcasing her looks-to-kill-for.
You expect a separate section solely dedicated to Shayk, don’t you? Well, you’re not the only one. Some say Irina has earned a large amount of undeserved media exposure, others are inspired by the hardships of her childhood and her then-to-come successes. Well, one thing is clear, Shayk has become the Kardashian of the fashion industry; you’ve definitely heard of her, only you’re not sure what exactly she got famous for (well, you know that in case of Kim).
Back to Bebe, although the entire collection does have the boho vibes, I wouldn’t state that it’s entirely bohemian. It seems that the designers haven’t dared to make an overly boho statement in all pieces. Some of the items, like the printed mini dress and the black fitted strapless dress are just a bit off the catalogue style. Do you see the boho spirit anywhere here? I’d say it’s a mix of boho and glamour, and these 2 are not necessarily connected to each other. Bebe gives you the option of going wild and crazy with boho or keeping your silhouette in glamourous fitted dresses. They have two completely different targets! Let’s see how that works out.
It’s also worth mentioning that the creators have paid a close attention to the boho patterns, which appear pretty often. Black, violet and white are some of the most common colors used in the collection. Although some pieces are very multi-colored, the series look very coherent and organized.
The setting and atmosphere are wisely chosen and will be definitely noticed by the boho fans. The garden scenes are well in tune with the collection style. Despite that, we have seen the garden and forest themes so many times in boho fashion ads that we’re praying for someone to come and introduce us a new way of capturing the boho lifestyle. You’re a tree-hugger, we get it! Now give us something new!
