You Can’t Beat Aging Skin: But Laser Genesis Can Rejuvenate It!

It’s sad but true… we can’t beat aging… but there’s no reason you can’t fight it with all your might. And, thanks to advancements in technology, there is a range of treatments available that can help your skin look younger and fresher than ever. In turn, you’ll feel younger and fresher as well.

Laser genesis is a breakthrough treatment designed to do just that – renew your skin’s natural, youthful glow to help reverse signs of aging, as well as sun damage and to brighten a dull complexion.

So, what is laser genesis treatment?

According to the team at Dr Lanzer Skin Clinics, Laser Genesis combines cutting-edge technology to reduce redness while also promoting healthy, bright skin. Lasers are used to penetrate the skin’s surface, gently heating the top dermis (well below the skin), which allows collagen production to be stimulated. This collagen production has been found to restore the skin’s youthful appearance.

Laser genesis treatment uses micro-pulsed delivery, with a 1064 nm wavelength. The process has been clinically proven to stimulate new collagen formation in both men and women. It’s a non-invasive skin therapy, and it can reduce fine lines, dark spots and wrinkles, as well as being able to minimise scarring, redness, and damaged blood vessels, and to improve the appearance of rosacea.

What to expect

If you’re considering a treatment, there are four stages: preparation, the procedure, aftercare and recovery.

Preparation: Make sure your skin is as clean and free of make-up as possible. Long hair needs to be tied back, and make sure you block out an hour or two after the procedure time as well.

Procedure: Your skin will be properly cleansed, and you’ll be given safety goggles to wear. Your practitioner will treat your face in sections, rather than all at once. You’ll feel a mild warming sensation, but it shouldn’t hurt. You may even find it relaxing. Right away your skin will feel tighter.

Treatments generally last 30 minutes or so, and you may need up to six treatments to get the ideal results. These treatments should be 2-4 weeks apart.

Aftercare: You may have a stiff face for an hour or two, and there could be redness that should resolve within a few hours. Avoid putting active and corrective skin serums on your skin for at least 24 hours, and hot showers, saunas, and spas should be avoided on the day of treatment. You should use sunscreen and use a gentle wash and moisturiser for at least three days.

Recovery: You should be able to return to work straight after treatment if you want to.

Who can get laser genesis?

Laser genesis treatment works on all types of skin. The only people who aren’t recommended to have the procedure are pregnant or breastfeeding women and people who are also taking Roaccutane for severe acne or those who are using topical skin cancer creams.

So, if you want tighter skin, shrunken pores, fewer fine lines and wrinkles, faded acne scars, an even skin complexion and – to top it off, a youthful glow, why not treat yourself to laser genesis treatment? You deserve to feel as beautiful as you look!
