Keeping Those Blonde Locks Healthy

Wash & Treat I wash my hair twice a week, so every 3-4 days. My blonde hair rarely gets oily, I actually end up putting oil in it. Plus, I keep styling to minimum with techniques that hold my curl for more than a day (which you are about to read about). So, the less I wash it, means the less heat damage it undergoes. Shampoo: I use two- yes, TWO shampoos with every wash. I start with a purple shampoo to help eliminate brassiness, and once that’s soaked in for about a minute, I add a purifying shampoo from Kerastase. Here are the two that I use: Keeping Those Blonde Locks Healthy

Instead, I use this balm from the same Kerastase line, and it makes my hair feel oh so soft. Then, every other wash I use this in-shower intensive treatment from Zen Care. I discovered it a few years back, and was amazed how easily my fingers ran through my wet hair, and even better…the price is amazing for such a great treatment! Just a few sprays of this does the job, and I even add it on top of the Kerastase Balm. Keeping Those Blonde Locks Healthy Get This Kerastase Balm For $68.00 Here. Keeping Those Blonde Locks Healthy

Extra Treatment: Olaplex is considered to be a holy grail of treatments amongst many hair gurus to the stars. It’s recommended that you use it weekly, and leave in on damp hair for 10 minutes, or for super powered repair, leave it on overnight. It’s NOT a conditioner, it’s literally a treatment that rebuilds and repairs the structural damage done to strands during the coloring process, and all the other stress we put our beloved locks through. Keeping Those Blonde Locks Healthy Get This Olaplex Treatment For $28.00 Here. Blonde Boost: Not only does this super pigmented brightening treatment from Kenra tone the blonde, and eliminate the brassiness, it’s also a conditioning treatment that revitalizes! It’s recommended use is 1-2 times a week, but I have read a lot of people use it weekly for 10-15 minutes, depending on the results you’re looking for. I moved to Los Angeles 7 years ago for music but ended up in fashion. That's just how things fall into place, sometimes! I had always been in front of the camera, but I felt like I would be better utilized behind it, so that's how my love for fashion started. I started styling celebrities for events, then editorials for magazines, and eventually, major AD campaigns. My primary focus now is being the brand ambassador for Fashionisers, sharing my knowledge with the world to help each person be the best, fashion-forward self they can be.
