Miren Doiz x Oysho: Most Colorful Summer 2016 Swimwear Line
What happens when one of the world’s contemporary leading artists joins forces with one of the most acclaimed loungewear, sleepwear and swimwear labels? Miren Doiz, who has been collaborating with Oysho for a while now (most recently she helped Milan’s Oysho shops to literally stand out from the crowd at the latest Milan Design Week, redesigning their shop windows), has just released what could be possibly regarded as the most colorful summer 2016 swimwear line, and we couldn’t be more excited.
Miren Doiz is mainly famous for bringing to the artistic world a new, fresher perspective to painting, through which she gives the viewers the illusion of being able to actually enter the pictures. In the same way, she wanted us to feel the artistic vibes that overwhelm us each summer by using her bold and bright artistic skills for embellishing all the beach-ready proposals she has created for Oysho. We instantly become part of the scene, and whether we go for a bikini, trikini or one-piece swimsuit, that ensemble functions as a second skin.
To further increase all the artistic vibes, Oysho created the most vibrant lookbook ever for the collection with the models posing on the backdrop of colorful walls, which create a beautiful contrast with the swimsuits the models are showcasing. With prices that range from ‚Äö√Ñ√∂‚àö√°¬¨¬Æ16,99 to ‚Äö√Ñ√∂‚àö√°¬¨¬Æ39,99, the line-up gives us some intriguing proposals that allow us to either mix and match the swimsuit tops and the bottoms, or opt for a fancy asymmetric trikini/one-piece that aim at enhancing any figure. Both the trikinis and the one-pieces feature tactical cutouts that, placed at the waistlines, let the silhouette look more balanced and the figure look more hourglass-like. Some proposals can even be labeled ‚Äö√Ñ√∂‚àö√ë‚àö‚â§sporty’, meaning that not only are they a pleasure to watch, but will also be comfortable to wear while chilling on the beach and playing volleyball.
Doiz proves to particularly have a passion for one-pieces, not to mention her love for one-shoulder asymmetric cuts and deep, highly pigmented colors. Whether we are referring to her one-pieces or to her bikini designs, the Miren Doiz x Oysho summer 2016 swimwear collection solely features bold shades of pink, magenta, orange, white, yellow, blue and black, and is basically meant to accentuate any skin tone.
As for the bikinis, Miren Doiz particularly brings in bandeau tops and Brazilian slips, although the collection does feature regular tops and culottes too for those who feel more comfortable in more covered-up and classic pieces. Lastly, although the collection does not seem to be that diverse at first glance, Doiz did focus on small details, opting for either geometrical cuts or exquisitely braided suspenders to break the simplicity and monotony of the designs.
If you are planning an artistic summer, investing in a Miren Doiz x Oysho swimsuit might be the right thing to do!
