Rachel Parcell of Pink Peonies Launches Her Own Clothing Line
With more and more fashion bloggers launching their own fashion lines, we customers definitely see the possibilities that open up to us when it comes to shopping. Rachel Parcell, owner of Pink Peonies, has joined the ever-growing list of bloggers who are expanding their businesses (such as Chiara Ferragni and Rumi Neely, just to name a few), just by letting their imagination run riot to create and lunch a clothing line. As written in one of her latest blog posts, which went online last Thursday, Rachel Parcell’s own clothing collection officially became available on Monday 25, and took the Utah-based blogger on a journey made of a lot of courage and months’ of work to be completed.
“Launching a new brand takes so much time, energy and resources so it has been a super intimidating process but I’ve felt so much more calm about everything since I announced it to all of you, so thank you for all your kind and encouraging comments;’ she wrote.
Those who have been following her since the beginning of her fashion blogging journey won’t be surprised to see that her eponymous fashion line is mainly comprised of ladylike dresses, skirts and blouses almost solely in pink (her favorite color) and featuring delicate lace, with ‚Äö√†√∂¬¨‚à´ber-feminine lines and modest cuts. The collection’s price tags range from $100 to $185, and will very likely increase Parcell’s already jaw-dropping yearly income (it is estimated that the young pink-lover makes nearly $1 million a year in revenue from affiliate links).
As Parcell herself declared less than a week ago while responding to a comment on Instagram, this time it will be a whole lot different from when she designed a jewelry collection, which turned out to be a bit of a fiasco. Regarding that collection, she said that she was in a licensing deal and was “unable to make final decision on designs’ because she was not the one who was funding the business. She learnt a lot from that experience, and this time around decided to get out of such types of contract and create a brand that was her very own and could represent her views on fashion indeed.
Rachel’s personal style has been translated into her spring 2016 collection in the forms of delicate pleats, cascades of romantic floral prints, mid-calf pencil skirts, loads of lace embroideries and three-quarter sleeves, making us say that she definitely has managed to create signature looks her fan base will surely appreciate and wear. If you like the designs, rejoice! She is apparently already working on her fall line.
