Mango Coachella 2016 Collection Offers #NewPrices
Only few events in the world gather so many people together, both in real life and social media, and one of them is the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. As soon as spring is in the air, the Coachella festival quickly becomes the most talked-about event of the season, with most of the attention revolving around clothes. Even if music literally plays a huge role at Coachella, those who are attending the festival put so much emphasis on what they are wearing, therefore the most famous fast-fashion retailers make sure there’s something available for every taste for the fest each year. Among such retailers, Mango just planned our Coachella outfits for this year, capitalizing on the boho-chic style in the latest Mango Coachella 2016 collection, which is filled with more affordable #newprices.
While Mango’s headquarters are in Spain, those of Coachella’s are at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, located in the Inland Empire’s Coachella Valley in the sunny and warm Colorado Desert. Founded by Paul Tollett in the late Nineties, the festival is going to be held at the weekends of April 15-17, 2016 and April 22-24, and onstage you’ll find the Guns ‘n’ Roses, Ellie Goulding, Sufjan Stevens, Underworld, Ice Cube, M83, Sia, Rancid, the Last Shadow Puppets, The Kills, Underworld, Foals and Calvin Harris, among others.
Whether you decide to attend the festival or would just love to sport some of the many Coachella-inspired outfits, you could in both cases just have a look at Mango’s proposals, as the Spanish retailer has realesed a lovely collection for the event that’s already available for purchase on the website and at stores. Beauties Zippora Seven, Tilda Lindstom and Teresa Oman are the lookbook’s stars, as their styles and attitudes perfectly get along with the festival’s jocose and cheerful spirit. According to WWD, the retailer will also reduce prices to further attract a younger audience (just in case you needed more reasons to stop by one of Mango shops.
Getting ready for Coachella (or any music-festival-themed party or well, the daily life) will be a lot easier with Mango, whose latest collection is the perfect hybrid between what people wore at festivals during the Seventies, and what people enjoyed wearing in the Nineties. While most of the styles and cuts are closer to the hippie fashion, the detailing and most of the prints draw inspiration from the Nineties, making everything look even more fashionable.
With subtle yet balancing touches drawn from the Indie fashion, this collection mainly focuses on stripes, both zigzagged and vertical. Long sinuous frocks get interrupted by off-shoulder necklines and strategic cut-outs, and are basically meant to be matched with denim jackets. Oversized tank tops, roomy blouses and billowy palazzo pants basically make the perfect fusion between cozy outerwear and trendy ready-to-wear, and could be easily combined with short shorts, sandals and cowgirl ankle boots. The line-up exudes some true Californian vibes, among which the Western and the Surfer cultures harmoniously and peacefully coexist. Rings, ethnic necklaces, thin scarves, sunglasses and big hats complete the looks.
