H&M Beauty Goes Eco Friendly
Last spring was revolutionary for H&M; the brand made some essential changes in its beauty lines, hoping to get it into terms with the modern beauty demands and prepare the base for the upcoming product launches. Shortly enough, we already have a new collection of H&M beauty, including hair and skincare products rolling our way, and all of them are… attention… eco-friendly.
Before you get all excited, learn the details, because they’re gonna make you even more excited. The Swedish brand has been putting efforts in this direction with its clothing lines. Now, the new H&M beauty collection is made to suit the brand’s eco-friendly clothing line that has been available for a while now.
The new H&M beauty line is called Conscious Collection and includes 30 products! A pretty big number indeed! By going for this collection you will be able to cover most of the areas of your daily beauty routine.
H&M Beauty’s concept designer, Sara Wallander gave us more insight about H&M’s reasons behind the collection, “We already offer conscious choices with our fashion collections so it is natural for us to have the same offering within our beauty collection. We always aim to develop our products to high and responsible standards in both materials and production. With the conscious range we have taken this philosophy even further. We are very proud to now be able to offer organic beauty to our customers.’
And she is right! No one would ignore an aluminum-free deodorant or an eco-friendly face mask! Why would you? A product designed to accentuate your beauty AND keep you healthy, it’s what every woman wants. Especially after you read the ingredients list.
Have a closer look at the packaging and you’ll see that all products are marked as void of GMOS, parabens, silicon, synthetic perfumes and dyes. Instead of all this, H&M used certified organic ingredients and has added essential oils for when you want your cream to smell nice.
Following the latest developments, it’s clear that the eco-friendly fashion and beauty market has been and will continue to grow rapidly. Consumer’s perception on the eco-friendly ideology and the lifestyle has changed enormously, going from boring, uninteresting, and ugly-looking to trendy, conscious, and creative.
The packaging does market the collection well; the boxes were created from recycled materials and they not only stand out on the shelves with modern cosmetics packaging, but are also very tasteful, especially in the choice of the color palette.
The price range of eco-friendly beauty products has also changed. You can no longer argue that living an eco-friendly lifestyle is expensive, because H&M’s new products are another proof of that statement being outdated.
The new H&M beauty products cost anywhere between $7 to $13. If you’re about to buy a skincare treatment, you are most probably ready to spend that amount. Why not go with an ecologically harmless option‚Äö√Ñ√∂‚àö√묨‚àÇ forget the chemicals, go all organic.
Interested? Get ready, the collection will be launched in stores starting April 7th.
