Dior Paradise Bag Collection Is Already Here
Are you still brokenhearted after Raf Simons left the position of Dior’s creative director? Don’t worry, the French fashion house is always here to stay and won’t definitely leave you alone during this Christmas time. The Dior Paradise bag collection for 2016 is, in fact, already here, and features an interesting range of lust-worthy bags, leather goods, keyrings, skateboard-inspired badges that playfully embrace utopian quotes and statements, such as ‘Pink Desert’ along with urban flowers and bold colors.
The line-up, which is an adaptation of a selection of accessories taken from the Dior Cruise 2016 collection, follows Simons’ contemporary style featuring exclusive modernist designs and patterns that include structured and clear cuts, as well as geometric lines (perfectly represented here through stylish metallic earrings), which also work as a reminder that it’s our second last chance to buy a Raf Simons x Dior item (the Dior Cruise 2017 collection will be Simons’ last collection designed for the luxury fashion house).
Both Dior Paradise’s and the Cruise collection’s videos perfectly transmit the line-up’s spirit, wherein the desire to spend the cold winter in some remote islands in the tropics is extremely strong. This is, in fact, an unconventional modernist collection, the summery essence of which doesn’t freeze even on Christmas Eve. Moreover, it’s been launched just in time for the holiday season to arm up our wardrobes with stylish pieces for the festive days or to help us find precious gifts for our dearest ones.
Of course, the Dior Paradise bag collection features a few must-haves. If you are looking for a minimalist, yet statement-making white handbag, you could opt for the Lady Dior bag in white with urban-chic badges and flowers that create a tres-chic contrast with Dior’s classic style. The renowned ‘Lady Dior’ bag is also available in a classic black version looking absolutely captivating and professional (yet still managing to keep its quirky and kind of punk rock attitude). The ‘Diorissimo’ and ‘Dior Bubble’ paradise bags come in white calfskin, too, giving the line-up a unique cheerful and younger look.
If you are looking for a touch of color to add to your outfit, try combining it with Dior’s ‘Diorama’ bag in red or in pink lambskin, as its floral embellishments and exotic fish marquetry will definitely make any outfit pop. Moreover, if you are not looking for a bag or would rather start purchasing your Christmas presents, the Dior Paradise silk twill scarves, key chains in metal and multicolor enamels and the Diorissimo Voyageur wallet in black calfskin could be interesting options for you to consider.
As for jewelry pieces, the ‘Dior Shades’ earrings come in metal finishes and with curious detailing, such as delicate black marble adornments and red glass and white howlite stones, working both with a sophisticated and a more casual outfit.
