Primark Gets Into The Holiday Mood Unveiling a New Lookbook
What we especially love about the holiday season is the unveiling of our favorite brand’s new collections and special offers. With Christmas almost here, we are now treated to the latest Primark holiday 2015 collection, filled with a variety of party outfit ideas perfect for fashionisers with different style preferences and interests. While a few days ago it was Michael Kors, who revealed his new holiday collection, we now have some good news for all the Primark lovers out there. The Irish clothing retailer dazzles us with its new lookbook, providing us with endless ideas for making our holiday wishlists.
Founded in 1969 in Ireland, Primark is about to start a busy year. The Irish brand is quickly expanding in the countries, where it is operating. It has recently opened a new big store in Madrid, Spain, and is soon to hit the Italian market as well. Primark is thus dreaming big, as proven also by its newest lookbook, which features a lot of sequins and delicate, yet glamorous looks.
The collection may be divided into two different themes: while the first one is basically meant for any of our (in)formal events, the second one is perfect for wild parties and unforgettable nights out. The more elegant looks are ethereal and feminine, and show tea-length pleated skirts, leather miniskirts and voluminous A-line dresses with lace embellishments and sweetheart necklines. The black jumpsuit with a plunging neckline is a brilliant look for fans of an elegant and feminine style, being one lovely go-to holiday outfit that requires just a pair of heeled sandals, a bright red lipstick and a glam clutch to steal the spotlight. There is also a classic white knitted sweater included in the collection, which is perfect for our family holiday lunches, while a short iridescent blue velvet A-line dress seems to have been directly inspired by Bobby Vinton’s renowned song.
The more glam-rock part of the Primark holiday 2015 collection offers two party-ready looks. The first one is definitely the most provocative option with its deep V-neckline and tight high-waist shorts, while the second look is more playful with a more boyish sensual appeal. While black is the main color used throughout the collection, the diversity is displayed in the choice of fabrics and shapes, as we see everything from leather to sequins and colorful furs, from short lengths to flowing maxi and tea-length silhouettes.
When it comes to the accessories used to enhance the looks, Primark keeps the same holiday spirit and offers pretty jewelry pieces, bags and footwear that will instantly elevate even the most boring and simplest looks. Cascades of sequins make their glorious appearance here, wrapping up some geometrically structured clutches, heart-shaped purses and mini handbags with their glittering allure. As for the shoes, on the other hand, the ankle-boots-fever seems to have taken possession of Primark’s lookbook, and will surely make all the boho-chic style fans out there smile. Those who do not like ankle boots, however, can always pick a more classic pair of flats or stilettos.
There’s a reason why Primark is so successful, and this holiday collection reveals all the good things this brand is famous for: it gives anyone a chance to dress in a stylish and unique way this Christmas, offering a great variety of affordable looks that are also super trendy.
