We Are Handsome Vice Summer 2015 Swimwear
The ’80s are back in full force as the We Are Handsome label presents its new Vice summer 2015 swimwear campaign. We already thought of Miami Vice and the ’80s combination to be all about palm trees and cool effects, something that comes in once again, blasting through our summer wardrobes with great appeal. As the name suggests, we are most definitely a handsome handful of women and what we wear should reflect our personalities as well. The We Are Handsome Vice 2015 swimwear campaign was shot at Kata Rocks and AAVA Resort & Spa in Thailand, a successful ode to an era that directly follows the 1970s, a period that has been extensively focused on for this year. The ’80s looks take on the pastel colors more so, with flamingo prints and towering palm trees appearing all over the place. The bold retro accessories are in style as well it appears as we celebrate a time when the millennial babies would come to be born.
The Australian brand has really taken the swimsuit collection to the next level, introducing some new designs as well, with the Rash Guard and the long Sleeve Zipsuit coming in beautifully. The collection features single piece and two piece creations, along with the Rash Guard, each showing off vibrant pastels with the graphic prints, including images of pineapples on repeat, and gaudy jaguars stalking through palm leaves. This is an awesome collection, and one, which plays on the detailing to produce a nostalgic line-up that is the most playful in their series. The prices are not bad either, ranging from nearly $200 to just over $300.
This is most definitely the little swimwear brand that could in a way play on the children’s show, and one, which is coveted by Rihanna, Beyoncé and Doutzen Kroes, among many other stars in society. We Are Handsome has certainly become a household name of late. They are a unique brand that really rose up the ladder rather quickly a few years back and has quickly become a favourite for many a woman.
The We Are Handsome summer 2015 swimsuit collection itself features some rather high cuts on the legs, revealing limbs that stretch for miles on end. Strappy black heeled sandals also make the cut, while we see bodies paraded about in two piece awesome designs. The long sleeves on the zipped swimsuits are rather interesting to say the least, with the zips themselves looking good as they reveal the bounty of a chest underneath. Single pieces make it big for the most part though, showing off more boyish bodies. This is definitely no Baywatch with Pamela Anderson.
We have to admit that the black jaguar at the back of the bikini bottoms is to be commended, as it is both frightening and alluring at the same time. The golden jewellery all around the body, from cuffs on wrists to armbands and midriff chains are enough to get the blood boiling, particularly when they are glistening against beautifully tanned skin. String bikinis are a bust, but regular bikini bottoms with Vice swim shirts are a bit more appealing. Add a few criss-cross racer back pieces and we have an astoundingly perfect new swimwear collection to show off at the beach.
