Bottega Veneta Resort 2016 Collection
We have officially begun looking at all the different resort looks out there. Considering the fact that the summer months are literally just ahead of us, the weather already nice and warm and perfect in so many regions of the world, it makes sense to start thinking about our vacations, albeit the Bottega Veneta resort 2015 collection outlines looks for the coming 2016 getaway periods. Really though, we wish we could get into some of these looks early, especially if they fit in with the spring/ summer 2015 fashion trends that have been rocking our boats for the longest time. Unfortunately, we will have to wait until October and November for their release.
With Chanel and Louis Vuitton already accounted for, we now move on to the Bottega Veneta resort 2016 collection, wherein it appears that common sense was the guiding factor for Tomas Maier as he stayed pragmatic in the designs for the upcoming year’s cruise and resort period. After all, what better time is there to sail to the Caribbean than during the colder winter months of the earliest time period in 2016? The designer for this particular collection acknowledged the existence of a mood board, as well as the inherent desire for color, choosing shades of pink, red, orange and blues. For Maier, it was more the question of the colors a woman would require in that particular time of the year. For the time period it is set to be released, the colors should lift moods, for the winter blues are sure to be affecting us all. That also means lighter fabrics to get away from the heavier garments we are forced to don in most of our respective countries.
This collection featured abstract patchwork pleated skirts as well as chic V-neck and turtlenecks in truly light, if not ultra-light and often sheer viscose. Japanese fleece sweatshirts also make the cut, along with track jackets and pencil skirts that are tailored perfectly to smooth over the body and end just above the knees. There are flouncy A-line skirts as well, alongside the pink shearling jacket and looser pants. Nearly every outfit in this particular Bottega Veneta cruise 2016 line was shown off with a pair of flats, though some did also include slight heeled sandals. Slip on sneakers and rustic embroideries on the footwear are totally our style and we cannot wait to get our hands on them. The resort collections are about pieces we would wear any day if not every day, meaning that they should be made for comfort more than just style. Of course, everything Maier produces is trendy and stylish, perfect for any woman on her day out.
Some of our favourite looks from the collection include the use of red trousers with matching handbags, the blouse in orange and the jacket in pink, while the red thin sweaters themselves look amazing tucked into high waist loose pants in tan colors, with handbags that have matching handles. Accessories matching garments are big these days and that is one trend we can grow to love easily. We might even really start liking those sleeveless versions of the shearling jackets that serve to elongate the body beautifully. Cropped Capri pants though, we certainly love; that and the blue or red coloring used within this beautiful resort and cruise collection.
