Banana Moon Swimwear 2015 Collection
The Banana Moon swimwear 2015 collection has officially released its new designs, within three different categories. We have the lovely regular women’s collection, the couture alternatives and the teen designs. Each piece out of the swimwear collections encourages us to be more youthful, to enjoy the sun just a little more and to really revel in the bodies we have been blessed with. There is a piece for everyone, from the more daring to the more sporty, from the typical ’90s child to the more modern woman in love with the hashtag craze. Strapless to triangle, bright colors to trending floral prints, the Banana Moon swimwear 2015 collection covers the coolest summer 2015 swimwear trends.
It was in 1984 that Daniel Flachaire, his wife Veronique and two others, including a French designer living in the United States named Nar Maori, gave birth to the Californian Sunwear brand known as Banana Moon. For some reason, we feel like writing black moon, but banana is a lot more fitting when considering the fun and innovating patterns included in the yearly line-ups. It is a combination of the Californian focus on sports and vitamins, mixed with the French love of fashion, combining to create a brand that thrives on the vitality of the colors and the energy found in the shapes used to produce the dynamic designs. This in itself also ensures better comfort while practicing sports, allowing a woman to enjoy showing off her muscular body without worry about flashing those around her.
The Banana Moon swimwear summer 2015 collection that is for the typical woman, not in the couture or teen sections, features a great love for prints. We have splatters of abstract tropical design set against a Caribbean sunset, carpet floral woven prints that put the ladies in the industry to shame with their colors and expertise, pretty spring zigzag with floral designs that bring out the innocence in our hearts, tropical plants and scenery from the warmest of Amazon locations, and all other forms of flowery concoctions that could possibly be found appealing by the mass market. You have string bikinis and high waist designs, string back single pieces and tasselled alternatives; there are crochets and single blocks of color. Most of all, each piece is about showing off a woman’s sensuality and empowering her with a zest of confidence little found elsewhere.
While the regular collection focused more on the colors and the prints, the Banana Moon swimwear couture 2015 collection adds some sass, working with the fabrics and the different cuts. We still see string bikinis and triangle tops, but we also see a good amount of stretch lace, of fringed looks, of extra attention paid to each piece to ensure they are a perfect match in embroidery as well as colour. Halter tops are a common staple here as well, while the whole of the collection appears to be for a more mature market that understand the detail put into each bikini top or bottom.
The ample bosom of a mature woman would be needed to fill out the couture collection’s pieces, but the teen version doesn’t have that problem. Instead of focusing on the ultra-sexy here, it is the sporty look that grabs the attention. The sunflower against black tie bikini definitely grabs the attention, while most of the line-up seems to feature strapless looks. All in all, three of the collections are enough to have us dreaming of summer sun and surf!
