Step 1: Start by creating the most perfect base for your makeup. Using some useful foundation hacks will lead you to polished perfection. Apply a makeup base on your freshly washed face and go for the best foundation according to your skin tone and type. Make sure to use concealer on the areas you have skin flaws to hide. Finally, sculpt your face with a soft blush color. Peach is a universally flattering tone.
Step 2: You may want to create dramatically bold eyebrows that can add so much expression to your face. Use the most matching brow kit for your natural brow tone and fill them in. We have used Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Ebony.
Step 3: Prep your lids for the eye makeup applying eye primer (Too Faced Shadow Insurance). Using a blending brush apply a light peach/ nude eyeshadow to the eye socket (Lovely from Sigma Fall Softly Palette) and then blend it with a matte gray tone using a smaller blending brush (Go Deep from the same palette).
Step 4: Apply a matte dark purple eyeshadow to the inner and outer corners of the eye using a flat eyeshadow brush (Elderberry from the same palette). Next, apply a shimmering blue/ silver eyeshadow on the middle of the lid (Silver Tongued from the same palette).
Step 5: Using a smudge brush, define the inner and outer parts of your lower lid with the same purple eyeshadow that you have used on the upper lid. As for the center of the lower lid, cover it with the same shimmering blue/ silver eyeshadow.
Step 6: To add drama and depth to your purple smokey eye look, apply black eyeliner on the upper lid and the waterline (Bourjois Liner Pinceau). After applying a few coats of black mascara, go for false eyelashes since you’ll definitely want to look more spectacular at the party night (House of Lashes Iconic).
Step 7: Your purple smokey eyes should be the focus of your holiday makeup, therefore keep your lips nude for a balanced look. Apply a nude pink base on your lips (Sigma Do Dutch Lip Base) and cover it with a nude peach lip-gloss (Sigma Slip Lip Vex).
With your festive makeup ready, slip into the most gorgeous dress and go for the most gorgeous holiday party hairstyle in order not to have rivals at the party!
