Michael Kors Pre-Fall 2015 Collection
We just can’t have enough of feminine fashion just like we can’t do in the fashion industry without our favorite designer Michael Kors. The Michael Kors pre-fall 2015 collection goes completely feminine and girly and sometimes even retro, becoming real cuteness overload, a fab inspiration for those trying to look cute in the chilly months. It’s not the typical Kors-ian style we are used to seeing, yet it does contain the typical ideology of the fashion house, which has made us fall in love with it for good. Surprisingly, Kors has used too girly details too often in this line, such as bows and pearls, which he managed to make look slightly less sweet using them in a “very graphic way’. So in this collection graphic vibes meet girly details, altogether looking harmonious and relevant.
“From bikinis to boots’ was Kors’ description of his new line, and it actually did capture all those styles. There were both summery dresses available in the collection and cozy fur pieces. Composed of mainly camels, blues, reds and blacks, the line also demonstrated beautiful patterns, including stripes, polka dots and feminine florals. The sporty chic style was also present, as we saw some slouchy track pants matched with elegant coats for a contrasting effect. It’s actually a line to dress girls with different tastes, and as Kors said he could name it after Jane Holzer, Winona Ryder and Taylor Swift ” three fashionable women with absolutely different personal styles.
Amidst those ‚Äö√Ñ√∂‚àö√ë‚àö‚â§60s styles, more modern fashion and sporty chic vibes, Kors managed to keep all the shapes relaxed and clean, whether it was a girly dress or a pair of slouchy pants. Diversity was present in the collection not only through different styles, but also fabrics and textures. We saw sensual lace, see-through fabrics, crepe and sequined materials, edgy leather and fluffy fur. What’s more in line with those casual staples, the Michael Kors pre-fall 2015 collection also presented some uber-gorgeous evening wear designs, including the minimalist little black dress with a halter collar, the all-red and the black evening dresses that looked so dramatic and refined.
No less spectacular were the complementing details, including those romantic pointy-toe flats, the sneakers with bow details, boots, feminine retro handbags and sunglasses. Wholly, it was a universal collection catering to the style needs of women with different tastes and preferences!
