Best Spring 2015 Runway Beauty Trends To Copy
It appears as if the spring 2015 beauty trends lie in bold attributes, courageous accents and natural styles that accentuate inner beauty. No need for a blow dryer when you can opt for real texture instead. You may want to fake a piercing or 2 or 3 or 10 however. Serious statement lips are definitely in as well as thick black Twiggy lashes. The look we are going for this spring is certainly not that of one who, has spent hours doing up her looks before a mirror, trying to reach perfection but instead one who is rebellious, wild and true to her inner self. Here are some spring/ summer 2015 runway beauty trends that we’ve noticed along the way!
Powerful Pouty Lips
We’ve seen the bold colors in Carolina Herrera, Topshop Unique, Burberry Prorsum, Dolce & Gabbana, etc. We’ve noticed the bolder lipstick in varying hues, from deep reds to Barbie pinks, and we’ve noticed the rebellious nature of the hues. Strict lines instead of blurs at the edges of the lips have reappeared, while matte wine colors are certainly stars of the show. Lips are made to look fuller, poutier and certainly quite devilishly sexy. There is something rather dangerous about this look, reminding us of a femme fatale. You wouldn’t want to be messing with a woman with these lips.
Bling Brow Ring
It’s not your typical style and certainly not recommended to wear at the office, but faux brow rings seem to be all the rage, showing off a stitched rebellious figure in fashionable attire. It’s been seen that Thakoon, Rodarte, Prada and Miu Miu place a big emphasis on brows this season, and it’s enough to either have you love it or hate it. Your brows will be taking on new hues, new lines and sporting rings that may run all across. It’s not the most appealing look but with the right touch, it can be deemed worthy of consideration.
This is probably the most beautiful spring trend we can see, as it brings out the eyes, giving the face a fresh and lovely look. It’s been seen at Fendi and Dior and certainly worth copying over the next season. Now, you may not need to snip off leather pieces and apply to the eyes with safe adhesives like those on the runway, but you can certainly use pastel colored liners in thick strips. Satin laser-cut liner stickers have also been developed as smudge-proof alternatives to the bold look. Simply gorgeous!

The really glossy look is rather spectacular really, though it’s something we have been avoiding like the plague for the last couple of years. It’s been seen at Thakoon, Emilio Pucci, Marni, Balmain, Prada, Kenzo, Missoni, etc. The glossed over look is certainly in the highlight of eye makeup, which means between your cheeks, lips and now the eyelids, you will be a shining star. Let your complexions glisten and feel the beauty of the naturally enhanced look.
You’ve been reading about it everywhere these days, hearing it on every fashion newscast, and watching women parade about with nary a hint of makeup on their faces. Forget the makeup, their hair is as natural as it looks when you wake up in the morning, if not as the day you were born. Natural hues are in as much as the natural hairstyles, with long waves and the curls you were born with optimized to look as perfect in their messy state as possible. Shine, texture and character is what you should be placing your focus on and the less products and styling agents used, the better. Leave out the brushes and use your fingers to detangle hair instead. Simple concealer and a hint of highlighter and perhaps a slight mascara application will be perfect. It’s a look seen at nearly every show and one we are definitely copying with gusto.
Lots of Spots
You may be rather surprised that some shows like Adam Selman, Oscar de la Renta and Preen have opted for the freckled features, really focusing on the naturally gorgeous skin many women try to hide under a cake of concealer. Instead, it’s the reality of the skin that is not being celebrated, with faced dotted in mahogany and taupe colors. Even if you don’t have freckles, you can certainly create them at will then wash them off if you no longer wish to be sporting the look. It definitely makes life easy for us with clearer fair skin. Tap a freshly sharpened eyeliner pencil along the bridge of your nose or use a special freckle pencil to get a more realistic look.
Pretty Hair Accessories
Designer add-on accessories for the hair are all the rage at Fendi, Valentino, Celine, Missoni, Lanvin and Dolce & Gabbana, among others. Laid-back hairstyles were given the necessary oomph with pieced that adorned the gorgeous locks of the models, from combs in buns to crocodile tails in ponytails, gilded tiaras for pretty ocean mermaid looks and barrettes for long tresses were all seen on the runway and we fell in love with most all of these items. The Valentino seashell tiara was probably the best out of all the designs seen.

We’ve already pointed out that the natural hairstyles are in, without any blow-dryers used to get the voluminous, sleek looks, but we haven’t yet mentioned that between Anna Sui, Marc Jacobs, Tom Ford and Saint Laurent, the rocker shaggy cuts are in and they look splendid. There’s something so mysteriously lovely about a girl, who feels confident enough to leave with her hair left to the winds to style. Distinctive fringes and messy curls are all the rage and if your natural style doesn’t allow for this look, you can always try a wig!
It’s been seen all around, particularly at Alexander Wang, Michael Kors, Narciso Rodriguez and Stella McCartney shows. It’s simple yet elegant and most certainly bringing a light complexion to the screen. We are faced with nude colors with non-glossy finishes, going for a ’50s theme. Powder compacts, nude colored manicures, and others in such shades are all in. You might be seeing quite a bit of matte nude hues hitting the nail lacquer section soon though!
