Victoria Beckham Spring/Summer 2015 Collection – New York Fashion Week
No one does minimalistic fashion that beautifully than Victoria Beckham and the rapid evolvement of her brand has proved this well over time! The Victoria Beckham spring/summer 2015 collection just demonstrated on one of the runways during New York Fashion Week spring 2015 comes to show the actual development of Victoria’s fashion house, bringing new vibes and styles in line with her signature shapes and lengths. Hardly could it be more perfect and gorgeous, since it does stand out in the big array of spring 2015 lines thanks to its effortlessly chic allure, the easy feel and the ultra-wearable garments that can be flawlessly transferred into day-to-day casual looks with a big dose of femininity and elegance.
For the coming spring season, Victoria apparently decided to experiment with new shapes and shades, forgetting about her favorite body-con designs for a while and giving more texture to her creations. Still, the new Victoria Beckham spring/summer 2015 collection is ideally structured and polished, sticking to the famous fashion rule that less is more. Curious cuts and drapings, small details added to the designs that matter, mainly being some belts positioned a bit higher than the waist line or buttons and pockets represent the recipe to the success of this line.
Monochrome, relaxed and modest is the color palette chosen for this collection, mainly featuring beige tones used with touches of white, blacks, whites and deep burgundy shades. While the majority of the looks is kept simplistic and monochrome, the end of the show was much more cheerful bringing watercolor flower prints in bright yellow and sweet pink used on a white background. Eye-feasting optical patterns and big stripes mainly used on the hems of the tea-length straight skirts and dresses are other effects playing a great role in the collection.
Thus, the show started with the beige color intrusion used for designing those timeless coats and coatdresses, the duo of a tea-length straight skirt with a middle high slit and the sleeveless vest-like top with the waterfall drape on the front, as well as for a couple of looks like the straight mini dress and the classic trench coat, where beige was merged with white creating horizontal stripes. Next, we also saw some really unique dark-colored coats and dresses in the same style featuring the same waterfall drapings and the belts, as well as an ankle-length straight white dress with a thick black stripe on the hem, another similar one only in the black color, a maxi straight dress with long sleeves adorned with the optical prints, skirts and dresses in the VB style.
As the show was about to reach its end, the trio of burgundy designs made an appearance, being a duo of tailored pants and a top with a slightly flared hemline, a skirt and suit duo and a similar one only featuring pants instead of the skirt. Creamy white looks accentuated with slight vibes of bright yellow came to talk about spring, while the delicately blooming end promised a fresh and lovely spring for VB fans. Undoubtedly, the Victoria Beckham spring/summer 2015 collection show was a cozy presentation of wearable and chic style pieces that any modern fashioniser would love to acquire for the new season!
