Elie Saab Couture Fall/Winter 2014-2015 Collection
Elie Saab is the name without which the world of haute couture fashion could hardly ever survive and this is what the totally mind-blowing Elie Saab Couture fall/winter 2014-2015 collection proves! Just launched during Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week, this magical fly of fantasy conquers the watcher’s heart in an instance and dares to become the dream of many sassy fashionisers. Elegant gowns and sophisticated cocktail dresses flooded the catwalk today, making the audience ahh and ohh as the models passed by. We can safely say that we are going to admire many of these stunners during the coming red carpet events!
The Elie Saab Couture fall/winter 2014-2015 collection can be clearly subdivided into several color groups, all of which stand out with their uniqueness and breathtaking allure. Thus the show was opened with an array of soothing light blue floor-length gowns and cocktail dresses, featuring glittery particles, plunging necklines, fabulous ombre effects, intricate embroidery, sheer fabrics, beads and flowing silhouettes. The star of this array is definitely the floor-length wonder embellished with a fluffy fur detail on the top part in the same light blue tone, a thin belt, gorgeous beads and side pockets.
The mood suddenly gets a bit darker, yet equally chic, as the cavalcade of sapphire blue dresses hit the runway. Here too, we get dazzled by the glittery appliqués, sheer fabric inserts and ombre effect, let alone the waist-emphasizing peplum details and the luxurious fur shrug.
As the show starts to develop, more colors appear on the catwalk, this time being the varieties of sassy red, put either as subdues pink and salmon, or bright orange and wine red. The same techniques according to which the gowns of the first color groups were designs can be noted here too. This array of killer pieces is being reigned by a flowing full-skirt, floor-length gown with a plunging neckline, featuring ombre touches composed of the blue, red and nude tones, as well as delicate floral patterns decorating the top part.
It is here that you expect something bright again, when suddenly a group of nude gowns comes to take your breath away. These are shades of beige and sand, used for floor-length gowns and a sleeveless cocktail dress, all again featuring the same glittery particles, thin belts used on the waists, a fur shrug and off-shoulder designs. For a moment this modest fantasy is being interrupted by a gorgeous long-sleeved full-skirt ground-skimming princess gown that has been made to dazzle with its red floral details used for the top part, and the gradient color palette, composed of red, nude and blue. Then, the same nude color palette goes on, featuring burnt sand hues, flawing silhouettes, V-necks and fluffy fur shrugs.
Black simply couldn’t but be here too, being used for a line of dramatic gowns, embellished with lots of embroidery, organza, glittery details, satin, V-curves and transparency inserts. Next comes the pure white fantasy, the delicate cream shades again, the single light moss green gown and the hardly noticeable light blue shade used for a few more Elie Saab stunners. As the tradition implies, the Elie Saab Couture fall/winter 2014-2015 collection was closed by a show-stopping bridal gown in the ivory shade, featuring a full princess skirt, lots of tulle, intricate embroidery appliqués and a floor-length veil with a floral crown.
The Elie Saab Couture fall/winter 2014-2015 collection just couldn’t be any more perfect and flabbergasting. It’s exactly here that you start to strongly believe that Elie Saab’s limitless fantasy of designing heavenly gowns will always conquer your heart and mind, making you the ultimate Elie Saab addict!
