Elie Tahari Fall/Winter 2014-2015 Collection ” New York Fashion Week
The ever-lasting fight between lightness and darkness served as the wonderful source of inspiration for the newest Elie Tahari fall/winter 2014-2015 collection, which was presented to the public on the sixth day of New York Fashion Week fall 2014. “Lightness through the darkness. Only through the darkness is when we can see the light,’ Tahari tried to explain the concept of the new Elie Tahari fall 2014 garments that have casual chic and modern imprinted all over. Even the way these pieces were presented managed to convey the idea of the new line perfectly, as mainly darkly colored pieces were demonstrated on the background of crystal light that could reveal the ultimate beauty of every single style unveiled!
The overall color palate of the Elie Tahari fall/winter 2014-2015 collection perfectly reflects the icy weather winter brings with it, featuring mostly black and some dark grays very rarely interrupted with dashes of red or light blue. The coziness of the collection is also provided by the cute knitted beanies, the super-killer outerwear options, the comfortable footwear and the array of knits and mohair ensembles available. You literally want to bundle in that oversized mohair sweater, matched with classy cigarette pants, the shearling coats and the super-warm knitted turtlenecks.
Besides chic outerwear, warm sweaters and pants, the Elie Tahari fall/winter 2014-2015 collection also showed traces of femininity through the choice of the pleated and flared skirts, as well as a couple of dresses either with a straight or a flared skirt. Other than that, there were also high-heeled ankle booties and interesting peep-toe ankle heeled boots to contribute to the ladylike allure of the outfits presented.
And when it wasn’t feminine, it bore some mild notes of masculine chic, mainly brought forward thanks to the choice of the androgynous shoes. Wholly, masculine vibes get intertwined with feminine chic, casual with dressy styles and the lightness with the darkness in the Elie Tahari fall/winter 2014-2015 collection and we do love the creative array of wonders this results into!
