Zimmermann Fall/Winter 2014-2015 Collection – New York Fashion Week
What the dumbfounding Zimmermann fall/winter 2014-2015 collection presented for the luxurious and striking New York Fashion Week was a catchy conglomeration of all-time best traditions of this Aussie brand, created with the most flabbergasting and modern mishmashes possible. The eye-catching diversity of the shapes and the colors was also worked out according to these principles, thus giving birth to the following amazing aspect of the line. The looks were lively, chic, and at the same time innovatively classic.
The show of the Zimmermann fall/winter 2014-2015 collection thus started with an array of eye-catching and a bit relaxed designs, one of the most significant looks out of which was demonstrated with a mini dress of greenish shades, and a squared handbag for the best match. The following white with grey watercolor blurry prints for the dress coming right after are also noteworthy among the looks. So is the mohair resembling coatdress, as well as the oversized dress with huge shoulders carrying the same texture.
The astounding black top plus grey and white blurry checkered bottom also took our breaths away from the first sight. The same can be said about the flare tea length skirt and the top with a cool back keyhole design. The sassy elegant dress with stripy transparencies showing some skin and the metallic beads put along the stripes are one of the most successful and key looks of the Zimmermann fall/winter 2014-2015 collection. Later we see some very curious interpretations of this look, like in case of the mishmashes of these designs with lace textures, thus combining the sporty and the classic and being applied to a variety of shapes like the striking jumpsuit. The red shades coming matched with black tones were the following catchy interpretation of these details.
The following interesting design elements were the golden details applied to the following range of looks, including the classy asymmetrical dresses, which came topped with the stunning black coats, the flare designs of the bottoms and dresses, at times also carrying the shades of blue and pal purple. The blurry watercolor prints were also significant in the Zimmermann fall/winter 2014-2015 collection, coming with the grey and blurry white checks for a suit and pants pair.
The monochrome black dress with a matching black clutch is the following key look. So are the super cute design patterned lace textures for the top and pants duo. Also, we can’t but note the classy asymmetrical dress with a nice V-neck, and the pale purplish mini dress with the topping black coat.
For some stylish diversities, the Zimmermann fall/winter 2014-2015 collection also suggests a minimalistic suit and pants duo of black shimmery fabric and the curious cuts for one side on the following option. The retro vibes are also here, expressed with the purple top paired with the previously seen textures for the matching knee length skirt.
Further came the animal print hints, used for a cute skirt and matched with a sassy red top. These patterns also expand reaching a whole floor-length dress featuring some very curious cuts. The traditional houndstooth pepita patterns are also here, and as we could expect they make up the array of the coats and the jackets, also leaving some space for the skirts.
Later come the catchy laser cuts, used for some impressive combinations of a floral printed red jacket paired with a skirt, followed by some similar laser cuts for a pair of a black top and straight pants. The creamy comfy and fluffy dress is the following wonder of the Zimmermann fall/winter 2014-2015 collection, followed by the cropped jacket, the flare skirt and the creamy fluffy top. The cute wide leg pants and cuts for the top are also impressive. So are the floral prints for the following dress and the laser cuts of the coming mini dress. Finally, it’s the net-like patterns that catch our attention for the final part, demonstrated with such garments as the previous dress and the following skirt.
The Zimmermann fall/winter 2014-2015 collection was concluded with a cute floral jumpsuit and a catchy top with that sassy sweetheart resembling neckline. The braided and twisted hairstyles of the models contributed to the creation of the absolute chic, too.
