DKNY Pre-Fall 2014 Collection
One of our favorite and youthful brands is turning 25 soon, and to note that once more, here Donna Karan proudly introduces the typically cool and daring DKNY pre-fall 2014 collection. Jane Chung did her best to present maximum creative and unique options, the peculiarity of which this time is the slight nostalgic mood observed in some pieces. The symbolic 25 print is also very spectacular in the line. Talking about the inspirations behind the DKNY pre-fall 2014 collection, we can mention the surf culture and tropic mood, which has been expressed with a big diversity of stylish motives from sporty to classic.
Thus talking about the key looks available in this collection, we can probably start with an elongated tank top, which reaches the mini length, this way turning into a dress-resembling piece, topped with a layer of sheer organza, all put within black and white plays. These color picks go on with the following options, too, further presented as a white printed T-shirt and a cute black mini length gather skirt with spectacular and tiny laser cuts on. Later this ethereal color duo gets interpreted as tiny and orderly florals put all over a combo of skirt-and-top, as well as more randomly put and bigger floral prints used for a T-shirt with track pants. Finally, the graphical designs involving hoodie elements, straight miniskirts, and classy one-piece options finish up this black and white romance.
Going on with the color variations of the DKNY pre-fall 2014 collection, we also encounter some stripy options, represented as a mix of black, white, pink, and blue, having tea and mini length. The line next goes on expanding the color palette to monochrome options, such as a navy blue combo of a pleated skirt, a bandeau-resembling top with identically designed sporty jacket, or a minimalistic variant put as a mini length dress with some zipper details on.
The final looks are composed of a cream suit, topping a delicately designed shirt with a spectacular light blue collar, and super matching cream pants, as well as a gray fantasy of shorts and a gray long-sleeved top, worn over a coral shirt.
So here you can see an attractive array of style options, suitable for everyday wear, as well as for some special occasions. It’s already 25 years that DKNY has been coming up with more and more creative and modern ideas, and hopefully it will always be like that. We will be waiting for every time new suggestions really impatiently.
