M&S Spring/Summer 2014 Collection
Belinda Earl presents the brand-new M&S spring/summer 2014 collection, embedded with super innovative vibes and spectacular designs. “It was reported somewhere that we only produced a certain number of our autumn/winter pink coat to increase demand – and it grew into a sort of myth, but that definitely wasn’t our strategy. Of course, there is a fine line between supply and demand and we don’t want to show customers rail upon rail of the same product. Could we have made more and sold more in this case? Yes – but we are on a journey and learning as we go. We’re going to read the reaction of the press to the collection today and produce the product accordingly. Our customer isn’t afraid to tell us what they like and the feedback we have had is that they have definitely noticed an upgrade in quality,” says Belinda. So probably nothing else can be said about the ideological background of new Marks & Spencer collection. It’s not about the quantity, but it’s primarily the quality that matters.
The designer trio Queralt Ferrer, Neil Hendy and Karen Peacock did their best to be as creative and second-to-none as never. The M&S spring/summer 2014 collection includes everything from the variety of shapes to the variety of patterns, which are the best way to create enough variants of choice for any taste. Thus, the line starts with a cool combination of a velvet navy blue jacket with ethereal black and white pair of a shirt and pants, all finished up with a cute and small handbag. The black and white fantasy goes on with the following looks, too, put on jackets, sequined top plus leather black and white tube skirt pair, some minimalistic vibes via monochrome tea length dresses, top-and-pants combos, and fabulous cropped tops. The other color variants include such alternatives, as natural floral prints on tops and dresses, brownish jackets combined with grey garments, spectacular ways of creating the bluish skirts, some yellow tones for similar types of skirts, as well as some yellowish and orange combinations, and other super feminine floral patterns for tee dresses of knee length. The green and loose dress options are also very curious among the looks. So is the all-pink top-and-pants pair representing the brightest sides of this line.
Thus, the aim of M&S to create a multi-faceted collection encompassing the most outstanding and renewed options for spring/summer 2014 is perfectly successful. The M&S spring/summer 2014 collection is surely able to provide just anyone with exactly what is necessary for creating a trendsetter’s image!
