One of these is the recently made announcements by Louis Vuitton about having Nicolas Ghesqui‚Äö√†√∂¬¨√Üre as its new creative director. After his amazing work for Balenciaga, Nicolas Ghesqui‚Äö√†√∂¬¨√Üre’s appearance here is a good promise of fresh and creative drives to come as Louis Vuitton’s new lines. Talking about this Nicolas Ghesqui‚Äö√†√∂¬¨√Üre mentioned, “Louis Vuitton has always incarnated for me the symbol of ultimate luxury, innovation and exploration. For him working for Louis Vuitton is like a final destination, which is lastly achieved after having all of his past designer experiences. Later, he added, “I am so happy. It is an excitement. A feeling that what I lived before was preparing me to do this.’ He also spoke about Marc Jacobs, who managed to do a huge deal of work for the brand, contributing to its development and progress into a truly luxurious brand. Thus, he said, “I have a lot of respect and admiration for Marc Jacobs. He made Louis Vuitton relevant in fashion and will always be known as the first designer of the brand. Among the many things that he did, there were the artist collaborations that have become some of the fundamentals of the brand. I am very proud to succeed.”
One of the most intriguing and curiosity-evoking questions also concerns the talented designer’s plans about launching his own brand, to answer which, he however said, “This is something I always think about, since I started; that maybe one day I will do my own name.
