Sexy Gothic Makeup Tutorial
Gothic makeup has always been popular among bold, creative females, who are looking for ways to be easily spotted in a huge crowd. While some are forever in love with the popular Gothic trend, other fashionisers want to add some freshness and drama to their look by embracing this hot tendency to a mild, sexy extent. Some just have fun with Gothic makeup and create a horror look on Halloween especially, while others benefit from the tendency by creating a more modest and wearable look that can easily go from day to day. If you have never thought about such a look, or, on the contrary, if you are searching for ways to create a mysterious vampy look, follow the sexy gothic makeup tutorial below and do it all on your own.
The makeup may really seem a complex one. The outfit you are wearing should indeed be coordinated with the makeup or vice versa. Spend much time on learning this style properly and practice a lot.
To start with, as usual, a foundation should be applied to serve as a smooth base. Here, you’d better choose a foundation that is a few tones lighter than your natural skin tone. Do not hurry up to make your face look extremely pale. Start with the least layer and once you master in the technique gradually add more paleness.
Opt for wacky colored lipsticks, be it black, blue or even pink. Apply whichever suits you most. You can also pick other lip colors that will suit your entire gothic makeup. These colors can include white, medium or dark blue, deep red, or burgundy. The color or the shade you take should differ from an ordinary lip color that can be seen in nature or is a fashion trend used at the moment.
First apply the lip liner. You can draw the line outside your natural lip lines to make them look fuller and well emphasized. Once you have the liner base, apply the lipstick. It’s not necessary to blend the lipstick and the lip liner. Moreover, they may be in different matching colors. It’s a good idea to choose a lip liner that is slightly darker than the tone of the lipstick you are using. However the color should evenly sit on the lips, so blot it with a piece of tissue to make sure it does not bleed onto your teeth.
It is more than welcome to use eye liner for this look. Your eyes should certainly have a heavy look. You may use black eye shadow, sometimes, however, giving preference to neon colored eye shadows with a thin layer of eyeliner. You can easily apply a set of false eyelashes for more drama. To complete the look, apply intense black mascara. If you want to create a chunky look, apply more than one coat of mascara and achieve a separated, spidery lash effect. The heavier the lashes look, the better Gothic look you will gain.
Hurry up to try the new tutorial and don’t forget to keep things simple, if you certainly don’t have an intention of frightening the people surrounding you.
