Mara Hoffman Spring/Summer 2013 RTW ” New York Fashion Week

While we can already feel the chilly breath of autumn, a sun-filled collection that states a Hawaiian theme is more than desirable now. Mara Hoffman pictured a perfect day on the beach at New York Fashion Week, while demonstrating her upcoming season collection, filled with bursts of colors and bright prints for flowy little dresses, ethereal maxis, bikinis and bustiers. The models at the Mara Hoffman spring/summer 2013 fashion show seemed to have escaped from an island dream with all the signature elements of the designer, including silk prints in vibrant hues, lots of covetable swimwear and breezy maxi dresses. As always, her designs weren’t overly sexy, but extremely flirty and unique with interesting cut-outs and skin revealing crop tops.

The Mara Hoffman spring/summer 2013 collection makes us dream of a tropical getaway in the middle of fall with a kaleidoscope of vivacious hues of magentas, blues, oranges, as well as eye-feasting prints. Parrots, palm trees, waves, paisley and abstract prints managed to perfectly evoke the beach-y mood of the collection. There were lovely maxi dresses, asymmetrical skirts in airy fabrics matched with sexy crop tops, summery dresses with cut-outs, gorgeous one-piece and two-piece swimsuits covered all with dazzling prints, body-conscious dresses with prints, maxi skirts worn with crop tops, pencil skirts, shorts, tops and much more.
The beauty at Mara Hoffman was also summer inspired. The hair was subtly crimped and parted on the side and a palm leave was tucked behind the models’ ear for a fresh, summery vibe. Makeup was minimal, except for the blue eyeshadow and coral lips. Overall, the mood was perfectly accomplished!
