J.Crew Spring/Summer 2013 RTW ” New York Fashion Week

Bold and edgy, feminine and subtle, timeless and elegant‚Äö√Ñ√∂‚àö√묨‚àÇ the spring/summer 2013 fashion trends are getting slowly outlined as the big Fashion Week is on the roll. J.Crew unveiled a collection riffed on schoolgirl chic at New York Fashion Week and it was so fun, cheerful, and sometimes even crazy. Tom Mora, the head of women’s design at J.Crew, looked to the saturated colors of photographes from vintage Time Life books for inspiration to design the charming J.Crew spring/summer 2013 collection and the result is obviously wonderful! Preppy blazers, ties and thick-rimmed glasses stated schoolgirl style, yet the pastel color palette present hinted that it wasn’t a stuff to be worn to school, but something chic for the streets.

Amid a range of soft, pastel hues, the J.Crew spring/summer 2013 collection showed also vibrant neon shades, this way stating clearly that two of our favorite summer trends ” the pastel trend and the neon trend ” flawlessly move on to the new warm season and give us another chance to embrace sugary and spiky shades. Mainly, the garments presented were about silky fabrics, clean cuts, soft pigments and lovely prints. The collection brought an entire kaleidoscope of prints, such as paisleys and stripes spiced up with a whimsical 1960s vibe.
The J.Crew spring/summer 2013 collection unveiled a lovely selection of classic cut ankle trousers in silky fabrics, floral printed pencil skirts with daring cuts on the front, printed and vibrantly colored shirts, blouses and sweaters, maxi dresses, trendy blazers, lovely dresses, jeans, shorts, tees and matching accessories. Chic, elegant and modern, the collection is ideal for laid-back urban glam girls, who love to pull off outfits filled with lots of personality.
