Kristen Stewart the Face of Balenciaga Florabotanica Fragrance
After she stared the role of Bella in the hit movie “Twilight’, actress Kristen Stewart literally established her fame and successful career. Her natural beauty and relaxed style inspire girls all over the world and apparently hook Nicolas Ghesqui‚Äö√†√∂¬¨√Üre’s attention too, as the designer chose the beauty to be the face of Balenciaga’s new fragrance ‘Florabotanica’. And although Kristen has never been keen on embarking product endorsement deals, something definitely attracted her to Balenciaga’s Florabotanica fragrance, as she agreed to represent the scent.
According to the interview Kristen gave to WWD, she is a great fan of Balenciaga, as she said: “I’m very lucky that I like the fragrance, because I would have done anything with [Balenciaga designer Nicolas Ghesqui‚Äö√†√∂¬¨√Üre]. And I’m a terrible liar.’
Her relaxed attitude to style and her ability to look great even in a pair of high top sneakers, a pair of shorts and a simple T-shirt, as she is wearing in most of the glam events, made her the perfect choice to represent the fragrance, despite the fact that “on a base level, the reason you want to wear a fragrance is because you want to smell attractive. That in itself is a pretty mature idea, especially considering the teenager I was. I was never the one wearing my mom’s perfume and trying to be sexy. I was like hanging out with my brothers and doing the opposite of that’, the actress says.
So what actually attracted Kristen to the perfume? Obviously its naturalness, as the actress said: “There is something natural about it. It’s very alive. I think that as a young person wearing it ‚Äö√Ñ√∂‚àö√ë‚àö√Ü considering that I’ve never worn a scent ‚Äö√Ñ√∂‚àö√ë‚àö√Ü it kind of puts you on this level of, like, ‚Äö√Ñ√∂‚àö√ë‚àö‚â§Whoa, check me out.’?’
The scent is more youth-oriented, as it features a beautiful mix of floral touches that results into a unique fragrance. Florabotanica’s ad campaign will feature Kristen and will probably take an artistic turn as the actress has confessed: “Even though, yes, it’s an ad and we’re selling a fragrance ‚Äö√Ñ√∂‚àö√ë‚àö√Ü I don’t want to sound pretentious ‚Äö√Ñ√∂‚àö√ë‚àö√Ü but I want to be part of this art project.’
Balenciaga Florabotanica will be available starting this September, so keep an eye on it to get a new signature perfume for you!
