Sometimes you just feel spunky, and you need to dress the part. These are always fun days for me, because dressing from another era seems to always lift my mood. If my outfit is bland then my attitude is bland. If my outfit is exciting, then my mood is lighter and happier. This original JC Penny’s jumpsuit in wearing was scored at A Current Affair, which is the holy mecca of vintage fashion that happens all over the U.S. I saw this piece and fell in love, but was afraid it was not going to fit. Luckily, it fit perfectly! Below I have sourced out 8 amazing vintage jumpsuits for you to choose from including some rocking boots to boot *insert chuckle*.
With all the fun things that summer brings, who has time to think about what to wear or how to wear it? On my busier days I depend on the effortless 2 piece outfits. I can grab one, throw it on, and not have to put any thought into how to pair it. Bonus is, most of them are also pretty comfy. Below are some of my favorites that you can utilize for a multitude of occasions .

If you follow street style at all, then the kimono and jeans look is no stranger to your eyes. Two very versatile things paired together make for a fun outfit. I got on a kimono kick last year and may have purchased a few too many since, but they are so beautiful and all so different, it’s hard to say no. I score my pieces at vintage stores, vintage clothing conventions, and flea markets, but Etsy has the mother load. You can spend days looking through kimonos that range in all sizes, years, and prices ($45-$3,000+) to be exact. I wear mine mostly with jeans, but they are great over a slip dress, or of course asa house robe. Below you can shop a few of my favorite kimono/jean combos and also these fun 50’s metal weave basket handbags.
This combo screams spring with it’s bold floral patterns and light colored jeans.

Who doesn’t love a good vintage skirt, and a rainbow striped one at that? I purchased this skirt on Etsy last year and really could not wrap my head around how anyone would let it go! I have waited for the right time to wear it and I feel considering it’s pride month, now is the perfect time. If you plan on attending any of the festivities this month, check out these pieces I have found below that will have you very appropriately outfitted for the occasion.

I have begun to see denim more and more in stores. I use to not care for a complete denim look very much, If I can be honest here, I use to think an all denim look was just bland looking. Lately I have seen what I would almost call a”rebirth of denim” as it’s being made into more feminine lines and silhouettes, and all around more flattering designs, giving the trend a softer feel. I picked up this cute little denim dress with ruffle sleeves and thought “I think I can do this”. So I tried it on and felt… well, cute! So I have found a similar dress, amongst a few other trendy denim pieces that are worth giving a try. As always, I have taken the work out of it for you and coordinated the whole outfit so that all you have to do is click and wait for the arrival. You’re welcome.
Playful Denim Dress
This look is ver close to my look shown above. I took a denim dress with playful ruffles and paired it with some sneakers, it was great for grabbing lunch in downtown LA at the Grand Central Market.

Suits of all colors and styles have been popping up everywhere, but one thing is for certain, pink suits have never been more in. When I saw the first pink suit make an appearance earlier in the year I drooled, and then when I went to purchase it, it was sold out. After lots of effort and determination, I found it. Then found another, and then another and this week, God willing, I found my last. Yes, I have 4 pink suits. I am not good at making fashion purchase decisions. I justified it with “well this one is high waisted”, “this one is a lighter pink and not high waisted”, ” this one has lapels and the other does not”, and now, “this one is a very laid back summer fit, and has long, wide legged pants.”
The pink suit that I went with in this look pictured above is from H&M, (it’s the “this one is lighter and has lapels” one). Then last week I scored this sweet (and original) New York Dolls shirt that I have had on my wish list for literally about ten years. When I was pondering what to make this week’s fashion article about, I knew it had to be something involving this t-shirt, and my next thought was “A PINK SUIT! DUH!” So I just went with it, and went all “Funky But Chic” (that’s a New York Doll’s song) and really got into that vibe with the polka dot skinny scarf, checkered booties, and sparkly sunnies. I have sourced out 3 great pink suits you can grab now. Great thing about any of these is that you can rock them up as I did, or get all fancy pants and dress them up. I’m sure you will find plenty of ways to wear this coveted suit. SUIT 1: River Island. This is for sure one I would dress up with maybe a silk camisole or even a sexy lace bodysuit underneath. The high waist compensates for the amount of midriff that would be showing, that way you are still on the classy side. Get This Blazer For $136.00 Here. Get These Paper Bag Pants For $92.00 Here.
