Beckham might not look like the ultimate sports girl, but her style ideas are always on point. Eight months later, Posh Spice has some new releases for you. Her first official line with Reebok is dropping in three days.
Reebok has been empowering women for decades now. In 1982 the brand started a revolution with the introduction of the Freestyle sneaker. At that time choices for women’s sportswear weren’t as wide and impressive but the brand made a step forward in making fitness more appealing to ladies. Now the brand is taking another huge step towards empowering women. Reebok tapped superstars such as Ariana Grande, Gal Gadot, Gigi Hadid, Danai Gurira as well as renowned fitness figures like CrossFit champion Katrin Davidsdottir to star in its latest female-focused campaign.
Reebok and Victoria Beckham took the fashion world by storm when they announced their collaboration back in November 2017. The sportswear brand and the British designer are an unlikely duo, but what’s even more surprising is that Shaquille O’Neal is joining her too! On the top of that, Victoria Beckham was the one who suggested the idea. Reebok is for sure getting more posh, but what’s the connection between the former Spice Girl and Shaq? Apparently, Posh Spice visited Reebok headquarters and dived into the brand’s archives. She was impressed by Shaq’s ’90s Reebok era that has started when he entered the NBA in 1992. As a face of the brand, Shaq has inspired many iconic pieces from sneakers to clothing.
Victoria Beckham is understandably a ’90s fan, so her upcoming collection with Reebok will honor Shaquille O’Neal and this iconic decade that brought so much fun in the world of fashion. The designer is working on her line of athleisure for the sportswear brand, but she has also curated a capsule inspired by Reebok’s ’90s archives. This capsule will be available next month.
So far, Beckham and O’Neal teased a hoodie and a t-shirt that honors the iconic player. They met on a basketball court to make hilarious campaign pictures in which they are wearing the ’90’s inspired pieces from the upcoming merch. Even though Posh loves sky-high heels, not even the highest heel in the world can get her close to Shaq’s 7’1. The designer is very petite and decided to embrace her 5’4 alongside Shaquille O’Neal. Both starts stood one next to another, wearing sneakers to show off the insane height difference. Later, Victoria got herself a wooden podium to compete with Shaq’s height. In the end, he decided to personally help her score a slam dunk by holding her on his shoulders.
Shaq and Victoria also hosted a dinner in LA to celebrate their collaborative merch with Reebok. They opted for matching t-shirts, but the designer this time finished off the look with a pair of high heels. Their families were also there to celebrate the collection. Victoria’s and Shaq’s sons all sported hoodies with a graphic of his recognizable slam dunk. Among the other attendees were Eva Longoria, Dr. Woo, Louise Roe and Rachel Zoe.

It seems that Gal Gadot is going to have an amazing year. The gorgeous “Wonder Woman” actress was announced as the new ambassador of Reebok just yesterday. Gal is joining the ranks of celebrities such as Gigi Hadid, Ariana Grande, Victoria Beckham and more in making the sports industry more inclusive for women. Gadot’s first campaign for the brand will be the “Be More Human” one that advertises Reebok’s latest training line for ladies. Shot by Collier Schorr, the ads show a fierce version of the actress flaunting chic activewear pieces.
The beautiful Israeli actress is a perfect fit for Reebok according to brand’s representatives. The brand is very committed to creating designs and campaigns that only stimulate women to be a better version of themselves. Gal’s “Wonder Woman” movie celebrates females as superheroes, which is another reason why Reebok considers Gal as its ideal match. Through their upcoming collaborations, the sportswear brand is planning to inspire women and teach them that fitness is the best way to feel stronger both physically and emotionally.
“Working out has always been a big part of my life, especially with having a mother who was a PE teacher, I was exposed to an active lifestyle from an early age. Through fitness, I have found that I gain strength, endurance, and confidence, and I couldn’t imagine a better partner than Reebok to join me on this journey.”- said Gadot.
In the campaign shots, Gadot is, of course, wearing Reebok from head to toes. All of the activewear garments are a part of Reebok’s latest active collection. The actress is rocking a pair of the brand’s SPEED HER TR sneakers in black, white and gray and The LUX leggings in a chic black and white print. She is also wearing the Hero Strong Bra and the Perforated Speedwick Tank in black and white. The best thing about her athletic outfits is that you can buy them now. All the pieces are available on Reebok’s website and at select retailers. The prices range between $35 and $110.
Gal became the ambassador of Revlon in January and debuted the “Live Boldly” campaign. The popular makeup brand is also on a mission to empower women through makeup. Gadot is a true inspiration in many ways. Starting from her service as a professional soldier for the Israel Defense Forces, to beauty pageants and a successful acting career, there is nothing she can’t do.

Gigi Hadid doesn’t seem to slow down. The gorgeous supermodel had an amazing start of the year. After releasing the lookbook for her fourth collection with Tommy Hilfiger, Hadid surprised us with another big campaign. She is the star of Reebok’s “Always Classic” Spring 2018 campaign in which she models the brand’s latest Freestyle Hi sneaker. Shot by Russel James, Gigi also promotes pieces from the brand’s newest collection.
“From the runway to the gym, Gigi continually pushes her limits to be the best version of herself, breaking boundaries and proving that nothing is impossible. Her fearless attitude is the perfect embodiment of the Freestyle Hi; from being the first fitness shoe for women in the ’80s to being a style icon today, the sneaker has transcended from fitness to fashion, encouraging generations of women to express themselves without limitations.”- states the official Reebok Classic statement.
The gorgeous 22-year-old flaunts her rock hard abs in a fun sporty ensemble by Reebok Classics. Gigi is wearing a pair of chic blue sweatpants and a cropped white sweatshirt with fun patterns. As a highlight in all of the shots, you’ll see the upgraded Freestyle Hi sneakers in Sandstone/White. This design is one of the most popular Reebok Classic creations of all time. It was first introduced in the ’80s, and since then fans got to enjoy many different upgrades and variations. What once was the ideal gym shoe, today evolved into every celebrity’s favorite everyday sneaker.
The new silhouette is available online at reebok.com. You’ll find it in two colors: Sandstone/White and Pale Pink / White / Cool Shadow. Aside from these two, there are many other fun colors to choose from, including metallics and pastels. The price range varies between $70 and $100.
As a part of the campaign, Reebok Classic also tapped other trending names including hip-hop duo Rae Sremmurd, model Sharina Gutierrez, singer Teyana Taylor, rapper Lil Yachty, K-pop star Somi, singer Ariana Grande, street artists Felipe Pantone and SANY. According to the brand, all of these individuals are great professionals in their fields, who constantly tend to push boundaries. The features stars were chosen because of their limitless inspiration and talents.
Reebok Classic’s Franchise Four collective will involve four separate campaigns for the Classic Leather, Freestyle Hi, Club C and Workout Plus styles. As a part of Reebok’s long-term occupation for women’s empowerment, the “Always Classic” campaign will once again show strong and powerful lady figures that are inspiring in many ways.

A partnership you would never expect was just announced. The famous designer Victoria Beckham is teaming up with Reebok. Although this sounds like an unlikely combination everyone is more than thrilled about it. Posh Spice is a fan of high-heels, so this collaboration is a big surprise.

I have always championed instilling confidence in women and Reebok is a brand that has been at the forefront of this same message for decades. To have the opportunity to challenge the traditional notions of fitness wear within a fashion context is something I have always wanted to do. I have long incorporated sportswear into my wardrobe and daily life and I am thrilled to be coming together with Reebok on such a dynamic proposition.”- Victoria said in her press statement.
Both Victoria and the sportswear brand took the news on social media. On the pictures from the first official workday, Beckham is wearing Reebok’s white Club C sneakers. The designer paired them with a simple white tee and black baggy pants. Such a chic start of this exciting partnership.
Recently Beckham has been involving a lot of athleisure elements in her style. Everybody remembers her Spice Girl aesthetic with outfits on fleek and statement heels. But the singer made significant changes and upgraded her looks with sports vibes.

Reebok has just dropped one of its most iconic ad campaigns ever, which, of course, sees It-girl Gigi Hadid as its ultimate protagonist. For the Reebok Classic spring 2017 campaign, Reebok also tapped photographer of the moment Monica May, infusing the overall campaign with an inspirational empowering allure.
The partnership between Gigi Hadid and Reebok was announced by the sportswear label back in October 2016, with this specific Reebok Club C Classic spring 2017 campaign being the first result of this agreement. Dubbed “Diamond”, Reebok’s spring campaign took both Monica May and Gigi Hadid to the Art Factory, which is a suggestive 19th-century industrial building in Paterson, New Jersey.
The campaign’s pictures see Reebok’s iconic Pack Club C sneakers, the location’s imposing settings and Gigi Hadid’s captivating personality as the sole protagonists, with the latter being enhanced by different jocose poses. Available in white, black, oatmeal and silver, Reebok’s signature sneakers complete Hadid’s pantless looks, also emphasizing the different cosy sweatshirts the model dons for the campaign.
Since Reebok is currently going through a sort of revival that truly celebrates the label’s glorious past, its director of the Women’s Classics department Michelle Palmer took the time to explain why they tapped Gigi as Reebok’s brand ambassador for 2017, as well as why they decided to focus on this specific pair of shoes.
“An international icon, Gigi is the perfect validator of the Club C and Classics. We love working with Gigi because she doesn’t hide who she is — she’s bold and confident — she doesn’t do what’s expected, she has character and personality,” Palmer explained in an official press note.
“Since its debut in 1985, the Club C has left its mark as an iconic performance tennis court shoe, and a timeless classic in casual streetwear. The shoe’s smart yet understated design made it a club favorite both on the court and on the streets. Fast forward to today and the Club C has emerged as a modern-day streetwear icon, all while staying true to its original design 30-plus years later. In 2017 we will celebrate this silhouette with continual drops throughout the year, kicked off this week by Reebok partners Kendrick Lamar and Gigi Hadid.”
While this Reebok Classic spring 2017 campaign just debuted on the brand’s social media channels, all of the different Reebok Club C shoes Gigi Hadid is showcasing in the campaign will hit the stores, as well as online on Reebok.com starting from February 2017 (no official, specific date has been revealed yet).

Reebok Classic and FACE Stockholm teamed up last year for a one-of-a-kind collaboration, and they are now following last season’s success with a new, thrilling partnership that includes one of our favorite fashion bloggers as brand ambassador: Julie Sariñana. Julie Sariñana, who was born in the Eighties, the glorious decade wherein both Rebook Classics and Face Stockholm began spreading their empowering philosophy to the world, appears to be just the perfect choice for their SS 2016 campaign as her natural beauty, along with her passion for travelling, writing and fashion, perfectly matches not only the campaign’s creations but also the colorful and artistic setting.
For those who are not familiar with Julie Sariñana, it will be interesting to know that this talented young woman is indeed more than just a fashion blogger. On Sincerely Jules she covers various topics, chronicling not only her daily outfits but also giving useful pieces of advice on lifestyle and travelling. Sometimes fashion brands like to surprise us. And Bershka is the next surprise on the list. It has allied with the footwear brand Reebok and produced a fitness shoe line that is meant to bring one of the most exclusive and much-expected products this season.
The new Reebok x Bershka shoe line is called “City Maps,” and while you could have easily thought it’s meant for travelers, it has a completely different purpose. “City Maps” is created for urban exercisers and fitness fans, who love to spend their mornings in parks and on pavements, running and exercising. According to Bershka and Reebok, the shoe has all the necessary features of a perfect sports-show and the in-trend style added by Bershka. The shoe is made of tricot fabric and is said to be lighter than a feather … well, at least a feather native to the sports industry. They are said to weigh less than 8 ounces.
Bershka, known as the upper middle class brand that brings the hottest trends of the runways at much more affordable rates (than Armani and other high-end fashion labels) has probably decided it wanted a piece of exclusivity too. And the shoe created just the right occasion for it. It’s not often you find anything hard-to-get in a Bershka store, but this time, you’ll have to go on a treasure hunt. The shoe will only be available in select Bershka stores and on Bershka’s official website. So, if you live in the wrong location, your love for fitness will not change the shipping date, you’ll have to wait a little.
The Reebok x Bershka “City Maps” campaign is accompanied by a promo video featuring hot models exercising in the city streets. From the look of it, working out seems to be easier than I remember. The shoe just pushes you up in the air, movements are smoother … oh common, we all know a shoe will not change the heavy suffering of morning exercises, but it might be just the right motivation for getting out of bed and showing-off your new pair to the entire city. So, I guess this video might have a positive outcome for Bershka’s marketing department after all.

“Every woman looks sexy in sneakers,” that’s one of the strangest and most surprising comments I’ve ever heard from a designer friend. Once you hear a comment like that, your mind can’t stop but think what makes a grown man attracted to a woman wearing the sports shoes you so often see on men. You think about it, you watch the trend, and then you start understanding it. The trend of sports shoes has been very big since the ‘80s, then it became a usual style, something casual you see in the streets … until now.
You probably remember the famous Reebok Freestyle Hi brand that introduced the sexy fitness shoes for women. You also probably know about the Swedish cosmetics company called FACE Stockholm. Now, can you tie these two companies and guess what product they could have possibly come up with together! It’s, what I like to call “The Sneakers meet the Makeup” duo.
The founders of FACE Stockholm Gun Nowak and Martina Arfwidson compare the choice of sneakers with the tough choice of makeup you go through every morning. It really all depends on the mood, they say, sometimes you just wake up and want a bold bright color on your lips. They insist that the logic is the same with sneakers; there are days when you just want the bright red high-neck options. And because you’re a woman with an extremely great taste and mind, you should be able to wear your bright color whenever you’d like. And it really works like that. Have you ever noticed that the way people look at your bright red lips is exactly the same way they look at your bright red sneakers? So, go ahead and invest in one of the color stories developed by Reebok Freestyle Hi and FACE Stockholm. The brands have chosen the lines very wisely, naming them inspired by the qualities you most like to display (just like your red lipstick): Strength, Wit, Creative, and Power. Depending on which one of these you crave, you’ll be able to find a perfect color story of sneakers and the corresponding makeup.
The makeup stories include lip-glosses, nail polishes, eyeshadows, liners, highlighters and glitter powders. Here’s a warning though: if you get the full sneaker-makeup package, you’ll most likely look like a parrot that epically escaped the cage and is flying to a jungle. Don’t bring the ‘80s style back just yet, since all-blue or all-green makeup won’t look too attractive, so give up on most of the items and pick one. Although you have to be cautious not too over-match the colors, the attempt to turn this into a trend is very nice. There is something in the revival of retro that makes everyone’s heart warm up … even if you were born in the ‘90s and have seen the ‘80s only on TV.
So, the verdict is clear. If you’re that girl walking in the streets with the sexy sneakers and the makeup all in place, you’re a diva on a run. Competitors, behold!
