Everyone knows that once you walk in Target, you won’t come out empty-handed. The retailer is now making your shopping experience even better with the upcoming releases. Target’s representatives confirmed that the department store is launching three new brands. This has been an amazing year for them, with many updates especially in the clothing and makeup sections. Thanks to the new innovations, the retailer is trying to deliver more diverse and inclusive products, so that every customer can find what they’re looking for.
Designer Virgil Abloh who succeeded Kim Jones as the menswear artistic director at Louis Vuitton staged his first show for the fashion house in Paris. The designer was welcomed in the Louis Vuitton team back in March. This is his first collection for the infamous brand and fans couldn’t wait to see in which direction Abloh will take Louis Vuitton. His brand Off-White has already won the hearts of the street crowd.
Virgil Abloh was brought to the French fashion house to offer a fresh perspective on the brand’s aesthetic. The Spring/Summer 2019 menswear collection felt youthful and energetic. The show started with an array of all-white looks. Virgil managed to put together endless variations of monochromatic outfits that looked polished yet cool and street-ready. There was a head-to-toe white look paired with red gloves that announced the colorful part of the collection. Models in beige and pastel green ensembles hit the runway, some of them wearing occasional hints of color in the form of accessories. Somewhere in the middle of the show, electric pieces started parading on the runway. From neon yellow, bold orange, bright red to explosive tie-dye patterns, Virgil Abloh relied on maximalism at its best.
The Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2019 is one diverse lineup. Virgil played with everything from tailoring to oversized street-ready silhouettes. The A-list audience that included Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, Rihanna, Kylie Jenner, Travis Scott, Bella Hadid and more were impressed by Virgil’s debut collection and gave him a standing ovation. A number of women on the front row flaunted Virgil’s new designs. Kanye West who also sat front row got very emotional and congratulated Virgil as he took his final walk burying his head in his neck. They were both spotted wiping tears. Virgil Abloh is a long-time friend of Kanye West and the creative collaborator of his brand Yeezy.
Louis Vuitton is a fashion house praised for its accessories. This show once again cemented the brand’s status as an accessory force on the high-end market. In his debut collection for Louis Vuitton, among other things, Abloh focused on reimagining classic accessories such as wallets and begs. He showcased “accessomorphosis” which according to the designer are hybrids of accessories and garments.
Virgil Abloh definitely offered a fresh perspective on the Louis Vuitton‘s menswear pieces with his first collection for the brand. From minimalist staples to millennials’ favorites, the Spring/Summer 2019 lineup has it all.
Harry Styles is one of the best-dressed celebrities with so many amazing looks that it’s hard to count. And the ones responsible for the majority of those are the iconic Alessandro Michele and Gucci. As the brand’s ambassador, Styles is the perfect person to represent the vibrant, unconventional creations that the designer creates. The world-popular signer is now the face of the label’s latest men’s ads.
For the new Gucci Tailoring Fall 2018 campaign, the Italian fashion house took Harry on a trip to his motherland. Shot in a small fish and chip shop in London, the ads are both amazing and surreal. The setting is slightly old-fashioned like it’s taking place in the 80s. You can immediately recognize that this was the work of art of Michele. The popular photographer Glen Luchford is the one responsible for the shots, while Christopher Simmonds directed the campaign.
“On set a fish and chip shop in north London, @harrystyles appears in the new men’s #GucciTailoring campaign wearing the House’s latest suiting designs by #AlessandroMichele. Discover the collection through the link in bio. Photographer @_glen_lunchford. Art Director: @christophersimmonds.”- the label shared on Instagram.
Styles rocks a number of fancy suits that are anything but ordinary. He is in the company of two chickens and several dogs. Alessandro has been pushing the image of animals both on his designs and in the brand’s campaigns lately. Thanks to the Gucci Tailoring Fall 2018 ads you can forget about wearing a boring navy, grey or black suit. Take a cue from Harry’s polished rock star looks and start shopping for statement outfits. In one of the shots, the ex-One Direction member dons a fabulous grey ensemble with cropped pants and blazer decorated with cream NY letters. The second look features a very light grey three-piece suit paired with chunky sneakers and a chic plaid scarf.
Since both Michele and Harry are not much into ordinary outfits, you’ll also see a fabulous navy blazer with oversized lapels, completely embroidered with pink flowers. The designer took it up a notch by adding a gingham shirt in green and cream.
Fans have been wondering why Harry was hanging around with dogs and chickens when some behind the scenes pictures emerged. Now they have the answer. The animals in the shots are his pets in the campaign. You can see in the shots that he is sharing the food with them.
Styles was first introduced as the brand’s ambassador in March this year. This collaboration was long expected since the singer has been flaunting Gucci’s impactful designs for quite a while. He wore almost everything Gucci for his “Harry Styles: Live on Tour” tour in the past several months.

Louis Vuitton has a new menswear lead designer and artistic director. The luxury French fashion house just appointed Virgil Abloh on this position. Vuitton is making another step towards diversity with the decision. What was once a high-end label that only introduced elegant silhouettes, is now transforming into a leading brand that follows the flow and satisfies the requests of their customers. There was a lot of speculation about Virgil joining Louis Vuitton since Kim Jones announced his resignation. Now, we can officially say it’s a done deal.
Abloh succeeds in merging chic streetwear vibes with luxury components. He might even be responsible for the rise of the mega-popular athleisure trend. Virgil launched his own brand Off-White back in 2003, and now it’s one of the most popular haute streetwear fashion houses in the world. This makes him the first African-American designer to ever front Louis Vuitton. He is also the first African-American artistic director for an LVHM-owned label. The designer will continue to create for his own brand while taking over Vuitton’s menswear department.
“Having followed with great interest Virgil’s ascent since he worked with me at Fendi in 2006, I am thrilled to see how his innate creativity and disruptive approach have made him so relevant, not just in the world of fashion but in popular culture today. His sensibility towards luxury and savoir-faire will be instrumental in taking Louis Vuitton’s menswear into the future.”- said the chairman and chief executive officer of Louis Vuitton, Michel Burke.
Burke and Virgil first collaborated together at Fendi, where Abloh was an intern in 2006. The word is that the LVMH conglomerate had their eye on the mega-popular designer for quite a while. Their representatives were even seen sitting in the front rows of Off-White’s Fall 2017 runway show. The French luxury brand announced that Kim Jones will be leaving the leading menswear role this year in January. Jones took over the position of Kris Van Assche in Dior Homme last week.
Virgil and Off-White are well-known for their collaborations with other brands. So far, the label released a number of joint collections with Nike, Jimmy Choo, Levi’s, SSENSE, KITH, VLONE, Moncler, Vans and more. Chances are, we’ll soon see an Off-White x Louis Vuitton partnership. That’s the first thought of everyone who is a fan of Abloh’s work. Celebrities such as Kendall Jenner, Bella Hadid, Hailey Baldwin, Kim Kardashian and more took it to social media to congratulate their favorite designer.
Kim Jones left Louis Vuitton at the beginning of 2018 with a memorable show. Just a couple months later he is ready for new challenges. The famous menswear designer has been announced as the new creative director of Dior Homme. The British designer will replace Kris Van Assche, who left Dior just recently. He was at the helm of the menswear sector of Dior since 2007.
Kim Jones has reshaped the menswear arm of Louis Vuitton in many revolutionary ways. The designer preserved the luxury travel feel of Louis Vuitton but added cool streetwear elements in its collections. The street aesthetic is insanely popular now, and Jones managed to make pieces that were always in a high demand. The designer also led Louis Vuitton’s collaboration with the infamous streetwear label Supreme. Fans from all over the world had been waiting for days and hours in front of their pop-up stores to get their hands on the exclusive collaborative collection. The pieces were later sold for 1.5 times or more of their original price. These two brands had legal issues in the past which made this collaboration even more exciting. In 2000 Supreme received a cease-and-desist order from Louis Vuitton for using their monogram on a skateboard.
Altogether Kim Jones turned Louis Vuitton into a leading menswear brand. With friends such as Kanye West and David Beckham with their family sitting front row, the brand’s shows were a celebrity affair. Van Assche, on the other hand, had been running Dior Homme successfully, but without big jumps. He succeeded Hedi Slimane at Dior, who is now the new creative director of Celine. Kris Van Assche continued to nurture Dior Homme’s sharp aesthetic throughout his career at the fashion house. Dior most certainly wishes for some changes in the future. Kim Jones undoubtedly knows how to keep a brand’s heritage while designing pieces that are relevant to nowaday’s customers. With his arrival at Dior Homme, we should expect a certain change in the aesthetic.
There isn’t really anything impossible for Kim Jones. The designer managed to convince Kate Moss to walk for Louis Vuitton on his last show. The former supermodel was off the runway for years and Jones was the one who brought her back. He closed the show together with Moss and Naomi Campbell. It was an iconic closure for an end of an era. We expect to see another exciting show from Kim Jones, this time for Dior in Paris. Hang tight until June for the first collection by the designer.
Target is officially everyone’s favorite store retailer! Thanks to its affordable collaborations with many brands and designers, Target is bringing us all closer to the best shopping experience ever. This time, the retailer partnered with Hunter on a collection that features over 300 items. Yes, you read that right! More than 300 items, including apparel for women, men, kids, accessories, shoes. For the first time ever, the popular footwear brand will introduce home and outdoor products. So stop whatever you’re doing and get ready to shop.
“Hunter has long been regarded for its impeccable design aesthetic, rich heritage, and playful spirit, and based on our research, it’s a brand our guests know and love. So a pairing between our two brands made perfect sense. From the very beginning, we worked with Hunter to develop a well-designed, affordable collection that’s all about fun, optimism, and accessible adventure for the entire family. The colorful, all-weather pieces found in this line are made for enjoying the outdoors — rain or shine — on any budget.”-said Mark Tritton, chief merchandising officer and executive vice president at Target.
The absolute best thing about Target’s collaborations is the pricing. All of the Hunter items from the collection will retail under $80. Now you can get Hunter’s iconic Wellington rain boots for a price between $20 and $45. Otherwise, they retail for around $150. These are the most popular rain boots in the world, with celebrities such as Cara Delevingne, Meghan Markle, Alexa Chung and more rocking them on casual occasions. A larger portion of the pieces will cost under $30, making it very possible to have to wait in line for hours at the Target store to shop Hunter.
Target got into the habit of releasing limited-edition collaborations with different brands and designers. They’ve launched a Victoria Beckham capsule in the past, and everyone went crazy. Another great thing worth mentioning is the size inclusivity, which will range from S to XXL for men, from XS to 3XL for women and from 18M to XL for kids. To celebrate the partnership, the two brands will host a festival in Los Angeles, sometime in March. All the attendees will enjoy the unique opportunity to shop some of the exclusive items from the collection before it makes an official debut.
Target’s Spring 2018 limited-edition line with Hunter will drop on April 14. You can shop the items both in-store and online at target.com. The collection will be available until June 14. For all the Redcard owners, there is an exclusive option of pre-ordering the items, starting from April 7. Shopping on a budget doesn’t get any better than this.

It has been a while since a designer convinced the legendary Kate Moss to go back on the runway. Her last official walk was at Louis Vuitton’s Fall 2013 women’s show. Five years later, the same fashion house got Moss up on the runway. The credit goes to Kim Jones, Louis Vuitton’s menswear designer, and Kate’s close friend. He invited the ’90s biggest runway stars Kate Moss and her supermodel friend Naomi Campbell on his last Louis Vuitton show. The designer is leaving the fashion house after 7 years of service. Kim Jones made sure to depart with a stellar show. Watching the iconic supermodel pals Naomi and Kate stroll down the runway was a moment to remember.
Although men’s fashion weeks attract way less audience than the women’s ones, die-hard fashionistas might be sorry If they missed this Paris Mens’ Fashion Week. Kim Jones closed his Fall/Winter 2018 Louis Vuitton fashion show holding hands with Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss. The two supermodels wore shiny matching monogrammed trench coats and edgy lace-up boots. As Kim Jones was taking his final bow, the heavily influential audience at Palais-Royal stood on their feet for a standing ovation. Kim Jones is truly one of the greatest menswear designers adored by designers, celebrities, and fashion obsessives. Victoria Beckham and her famous husband, Olivier Rousteing, Virgil Abloh, Craig Green, Humberto Leon, and Chitose Abe were the designers who watched the show from the front row.
Kim Jones used his last show to thank the man who got him the job as a menswear designer at Louis Vuitton. The designer shared photos from Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss with the caption:
“This was really a thank-you and reference to Marc Jacobs’s early-2000s Vuitton and the fact that he was the one who gave me the opportunity to be [at] Louis Vuitton. Thank you all.”
Besides honoring Marc Jacobs’s era at Louis Vuitton, Kim Jones made s strong case for age-inclusivity on the runway. Naomi Campbell 47, and Kate Moss 44 proved that they still own the runway. Campbell was pretty present on the fashion scene lately. She helped Donatella Versace to pay tribute to her late brother Gianni Versace closing the fashion house’s Spring 2018 show together with other older supermodels such as Cindy Crawford, Claudia Schiffer, Carla Bruni and Helena Christensen. The model also joined her beloved Azzedine Alaia at his couture Fall 2017 show in July. That was his last show before he passed away in November.
We’ve finally come to a time when fashion accepted gender fluidity. There is less of the “women’s fashion is only for women, and men’s fashion is only for men”. These days most of the designs you will see on ladies, you might also notice on men. And this is probably the greatest thing that’s happened in years. Plaid coats are one of the must-have items that everyone needs in their closet for the season. Females will wear them in brighter and more vibrant colors, while males will probably stay in the comfort zone and rock shades such as black, gray, camel, burgundy, and olive green. GQ’s creative director Jim Moore leads gentlemen how to rock this statement piece of clothing in this video below.
Moore is already determined to make you crave for a plaid coat. The fashionista thinks that it will upgrade your style this season. According to him, you should treat it just like a camel coat. And for all the men out there who are afraid of this pattern he has an important message. The plaid coats are extremely versatile and will make a huge difference in your outfit.
“Be bold, or go home! This is the plaid coat. What I love about plaid coats, is that it’s going to become your signature for fall.”- Jim recommends.
Instead of going with the already safe choice such as parka or puffer, it is time to rock a good coat. The plaid coat will be a great addition to your closet for all possible occasions. The only place where you can’t wear plaid coats is in the gym. Office style will look much better thanks to a confident plaid coat. And if you want to update your casual style, this is the ideal piece. The best thing is that you can also rock it with sneakers and jeans.
Also, there are many options within the range of every budget. Zara is one of the affordable brands that offer high-quality clothing items. You can snatch a great coat under $200 during the holiday sales. And if you want to go with a high-end option, every single luxury brand offers stylish plaid coats. All you need to do is decide on the color and pattern that will fit your personal style. Just like with women’s fashion, the gentleman this season will be wearing fierce maximalist pieces. So step out of your comfort zone and buy a coat that stands out. In the sea of boring clothes, you don’t need to be another ordinary dressed person.
Male celebrities showed many amazing looks lately. Unlike in the past, today more men care about their style. They are not afraid to accept and try new trends. The guys who dare to wear bold outfits are the ones who stand out in a crowd.
David Beckham is probably on the top of the best-dressed celebrities. The football star is known for his distinctive taste in fashion, and his ability to make everything look good. David is a real style icon and many men turn to his outfits for inspiration. His oldest son Brooklyn is also following his example. Pharrell Williams, on the other hand, is popular for his unconventional style. The singer always manages to put together outfits that look everything but ordinary.
Zayn Malik is another young trendsetter. He and his popular girlfriend Gigi Hadid are among the best-dressed couples in Hollywood. The former One Direction singer loves to play with different styles. Harry Styles, who was also a part of One Direction developed his signature style as well. The singer is winning many hearts with his unique outfits.
For their street style, male influencers tend to wear laid-back outfits. Their favorite piece of clothing is a good pair of jeans. They match it with cool shirts, sweaters, and tees. Bold jackets and great shoes or sneakers are a must-have for every fashion-forward male out there. Here are some of the best street-style looks delivered by celebrities such as Ryan Reynolds, Jared Leto, Ryan Gosling, David Beckham and more.
